Malungkot ang Bagong Taon ni AiAi Delas Alas dahil namatay noong New Year's Eve ang kanyang tatay na si Rosendo Delas Alas.

Ibinurol ang tatay ni AiAi sa Arlington Funeral Homes at inilibing kahapon sa Eternal Gardens.

Nalungkot si AiAi pero nagpapasalamat siya sa Diyos dahil binigyan ng mahabang buhay ang kanyang ama na namatay sa edad na 88.
