Christopher Gutierrez

Christopher Gutierrez considers acting and dancing as his primary talents. Born in Welmington, Delaware USA, he is in Grade 7 at De La Salle Greenhills and he is proud to say he's in the Top 5 of his class. Something his mom Marites, who's a chef by profession, and grandmother Gloria Romero must be very proud of.

Although this early, Christopher doesn't know yet what course to take when he reaches college, he stressed that "my studies will be my priority!" His favorite subjects he said are Science and Math.

In showbiz, his goal is to be Mr. No. 1 like his grandfather Juancho Gutierrez, who during his heyday, used to be Mr. No 1 (while Amalia Fuentes was Miss No. 1). "I will try my very best to be Mr. No. 1 also," Christopher said. His grandfather died after being bedridden due to a stroke several years ago.

Now that he has joined showbiz, Chris said his lola is very supportive and very protective of him, always giving him advice and tips on how to succeed in this field. "Just try your best every time, in every situation...kahit hindi mo alam, still try your best," Glo would tell him he said. He is still undergoing workshop with the other members of Batch 13 but when the opportunity arises, Chris would like to try drama first.

He has seen some of his lola's movies like "Dalagang Ilocana" and "Tanging Yaman" but not "Magnifico" which he hopes he can watch when he has the time. Christopher finds his lola's voice as "very sweet and comforting." Needles to say, Gloria Romero, a legend in Philippine movies, is his idol.
