Here is the news:

Mo Twister Binastos si Charice sa Twitter

Papansin lang ba ito, paintriga because I do not buy the reason of Mo Twister that it is just for fun.

Here is the news:

MANILA, Philippines – Disc jockey Mo Twister and two others were suspended for two weeks from their radio program for alleged sex tape tweets against international singer Charice.
In a statement Wednesday, Magic 89.9 said they did not condone the actions of Mo, Mohan Gumatay in real life, and his fellow DJs Tin Gamboa and Mia Bayuga in their program “Good Times”.

Tulfo Brothers Suspended

Anger would not bring anyone something good. Look at the Tulfo Brothers who threatened the couple, Raymart and Claudine in their program with man viewers as witnesses.

Here is the news:

MANILA, Philippines The three hosts of T3: Kapatid, Sagot Kita have been suspended, the corporate public relations officer of TV5 said on Wednesday.
"The Tulfo brothers, Erwin, Raffy, and Ben have been suspended as of 5 p.m. today," a text message sent to InterAksyon said on Wednesday, quoting TV5's corporate public relations officer Peachy Vibal-Guioguio.
"Mon Tulfo, Martin Andanar, and Atty. Mel Sta. Maria will serve as hosts of T3," the same text message said.
No additional details were provided, but the younger Tulfos had drawn flak for their on-air remarks against actor Raymart Santiago, who had figured in an airport brawl with their brother Ramon.
In lieu of the Tulfo siblings, eldest brother Mon - who was not involved in the controversy over the on-air remarks widely seen as bordering on “threats” - was made host of the T3 show, along with two other network hosts, Martin Andanar and resident legal commentator Atty. Mel Sta. Maria.
The three younger Tulfos face an investigation announced earlier by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB), which set a hearing Thursday.
Earlier the Kapatid network said in a statement on Tuesday that the remarks of the younger Tulfos, made just before Atty. Mel Sta. Maria interviewed their brother Mon on Monday, were spontaneous, unscripted, and "uncalled for," and that the management was taking action on the matter.

Celebrities' Scandals, Then and Now Part 2

Here is part 2 of the Celebrities' Scandals, Then and Now that were published in inquirer.

Eddie Garcia

It’s hard to give advice because I never quarrelled with a reporter in my entire career. In my opinion, any misunderstanding can be resolved in a peaceful manner. During our time, the Big Four studios (LVN, Sampaguita, Premiere, Lebran) disciplined their actors. We were told to abide by a strict morality code. Mrs. Azucena Vera-Perez (Sampaguita) would call our attention if we misbehaved. Mrs. Vera-Perez always checked the girls’ outfits before they left for a party.
Perla Bautista

.A young star once asked for advice. I told her: “If you want to last long in show business, you’d better know how to keep secrets.” I also believe that how you treat underlings reflects your true personality. When I am in a mall and a sales lady is cranky, I put myself in their shoes. They’ve been on their feet the whole day and they must be tired. Don’t expect special treatment just because you are a movie star.

Delia Razon

Times were different when we were young. In LVN, Doña Sisang (de Leon) took care of us like we were her own children. She taught us to always be friendly and respectful of other people. She would tell us: “Always smile at the fans. If they say something nasty, just turn your back and walk away. Evitar desgusto [Avoid trouble].” I follow her advice until now. If I smile at someone and I get snubbed, okay lang. I shared that tip with my granddaughter Carla Abellana. I told her: “If someone greets you, just wave even if you don’t see the person. Acknowledge the greeting.”
Amalia Fuentes

During our time, there were also shocking scandals, like the murder of Lilian Velez in the hands of Narding Anzures. Every generation has its share of violent incidents. It’s human nature. It just depends on how you handle the situation. Every time actors leave their homes, they will be under scrutiny. That’s why today’s kids should think twice. Count to 10 before you do anything. For parents, make sure to know your children’s friends. Spend time with your kids, get to know them. The family support system is very important. When we were young actors, we were sheltered by Sampaguita. Plus, I credit my mother. I wasn’t allowed to go out at night without one of my brothers as chaperon. I was a virgin until I was 26 years old! Now, when I say that, people ask, “Amalia, are you bragging or complaining?
Caridad Sanchez

Normal people have the same troubles. If the scandals involve actors, they are magnified. I don’t think that these actors’ private problems would adversely affect the entire industry. I think the public is smarter now. They might generalize that all actors are troublemakers; that would be unfair. Well, times have changed. I am not surprised that such scandals have become commonplace. In our time, life was simpler.

Celebrities' Scandals, Then and Now.

Celebrities' Scandals, Then and Now.
How did the old stars behave in public to avoid scandals at the height of their popularity?
Here are some of them. From inquirer. Some photos are also from inquirer.

What was supposed to be a lazy summer weekend has become a time of collective exasperation.
Local Show Town was rocked with a double whammy of very public squabbles involving celebrities—specifically, the bar brawl with former sweethearts Andi Eigenmann and Albie Casiño as protagonists, and the airport altercation between Inquirer columnist Ramon Tulfo and married couple Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto.
Inquirer Entertainment turned to the country’s veteran actors for a little sobriety amid the hysterics. The senior stars graciously favored us with their voice of wisdom.
Gloria Sevilla

We can’t solve a problem by creating another problem. I’ve experienced being left behind by a plane many times in the past, but when I talked to the airline staff, I was always calm and civil. Even if I felt wronged, I tried to be humble and cool-headed. I guess, everyone is getting hot-tempered these days because of the weather!
Anita Linda

We also had our share of showbiz scandals in the past, but we handled things discreetly. Also, we were protected and disciplined by the studio bosses. Mrs. Adela Santiago of Premiere Productions would scold me: “I heard you were in the nightclub until morning.” They never get tired of reminding us that we should conduct ourselves properly in public. It’s not that we didn’t make mistakes; we just didn’t wash our dirty linen in public. I have a simple advice to young stars: Love your work. Respect your profession. Never forget that you owe your fame to the public.
Marita Zobel

Actually, there isn’t much difference then and now. Scandals also broke out during our time. It’s just that we didn’t flaunt our troubles. We kept things private. It was because we felt that we had a certain responsibility as actors. We were aware that young people looked up to us and we always had to set a good example.

Jaclyn Jose abusing Andi?

Is that the reason why Andi became pregnant at a young age--rebelling against her mom who is allegedly hurting her when she's drunk?

Here is the news:

“I am not an alcoholic, been working in this business for a long time. Kung alcoholic ako, wala sana akong trabaho. Alam ng industry ang record ko how professional I am and hindi kailan man binugbog ang anak ko. Nu’ng nabuntis nga ni pitik ‘di ko nagawa. Pinalaki ko ang mga anak ko nang walang palo at mahusay na pakikipag-usap lang at lalong ‘di ko pinakalaking sinungaling ang mga anak ko,” sabi ni Jaclyn.

Child Abuse, isasampa ni Claudine at Raymart

Bakit child abuse?

Galit na galit siya, tinatanong niya, ‘Where's that man? Is he in jail?’ For a four-year old na sinasabi ‘yun, very traumatic eh,” sabi ni Raymart.
Alex Avisado, abogado nina Claudine at Raymart.

Amalia Fuentes sued Ruffa Gutierrez

So I thought the twitter war is over. Wrong. Amalia Fuentes elevated the case to the court by charging Ruffa Gutierrez of libel.

MANILA, Philippines — Former actress Amalia Fuentes has lodged libel charges against TV host and ex-beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez for her tweets, which Fuentes said injured her reputation.
Named as respondents were Gutierrez, writer Allan Diones and the editorial staff of the tabloid Abante, identified as Allen Macasaet, Nicolas Quijano Jr., Janet Bay, Jesus Galang, Randy Hagos, Jeany Lacorte, Ron Tamayo, Jorge Punzalan, and Lino Minor.
Fuentes filed the libel complaint on Monday afternoon before the Quezon City prosecutors office.
Gutierrez’s allegedly libelous tweets were posted on April 14 on the micro-blogging website Twitter while Abante published a story on the tweets on April 16.
In the seven-page complaint, Fuentes alleged that the ex-beauty queen accused her of inventing “false stories about” about Gutierrez and her family.

Mon Tulfo versus Claudine and Raymart Santiago

The Rumble in the NAIA was caught by a video uploaded by one of the people in the airport. It disproved that it was Mon Tulfo who started the brawl. Here is the latest:

MANILA, Philippines (3rd UPDATE) - Brothers of Ramon Tulfo on Monday vowed to exact revenge against celebrity couple Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto for allegedly mauling the columnist in a melee at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on Sunday.
Erwin Tulfo said on their T3 show on TV5 that Santiago should expect he and his brothers to go after him. "Abangan mo ang bwelta ng Tulfo brothers," he said.
He also said that Santiago's wife, Claudine, will also feel the Tulfos' wrath.
"Ipagdasal mo lang sana, ipapayo ko sa iyo at sa asawa mo, huwag ka munang lumabas ng bansa dahil kapag nagpangabot tayo sa NAIA Terminal 1, Terminal 2, Terminal 3, tatamaan at tatamaan ka, wala akong pakialam, pati asawa mo tatamaan sa amin. Ipagdasal mo na lamang huwag tayong magkrus ng landas," he said.
Erwin Tulfo added that his brother would not have been mauled by Santiago's group if he was with his brother.
"Siguro kung nagkasabay kami sa eroplano kahapon, pareho kaming galing Davao, nauna lang iyung utol ko, hindi mangyayari iyon pare ko. Dalawa lang patutunguhan noon. Either iinterview ako sa loob ng kulungan o iinterview ako, nagsasalita ako ngayon," he said.

Claudine Barreto blaming Tulfo for the brawl

It looks like, the CCTV would confirm the allegation of Tulfo that he indeed was mauled by the friends of Raymart Santiago. But Claudine pointed Tulfo to have initiated the fistfight.

Here is the news:

MANILA, Philippines – Actress Claudine Barretto denied that it was her husband Raymart Santiago who started the brawl at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on Sunday.
This comes after journalist Mon Tulfo claimed that Santiago tried to forcefully grab his cellphone after the actor caught him taking a photo of Barretto when she was allegedly cursing a flight attendant.
In an interview with radio dzMM, Barretto said it is not true that she was cursing the airport staff.
She said she was merely complaining because their bags were left in Caticlan Airport and she needed the medicines of her son.
“Pagbaba ho namin ng airport, naghintay po kami ng matagal sa carousel ng luggage. Walang dumating na luggage namin so lumapit kami sa ground stewardess tapos nalaman namin na naiwan pala 'yung luggage at ipapadala na lang daw,” she explained.

Albie Casino recovering

What was the new mother Andie Eigenmann doing in a bar at that unholy hour? Isn't she supposed to watch her baby? And then the mauling of the susected father of her baby was alleged to have made by her friends,
Here is the news:

MANILA, Philippines РYoung actor Albie Casi̱o is still recovering from the injuries he sustained from a brawl on Friday night at a bar in Makati City, his mother and uncle told ABS-CBN reporter Gretchen Fullido on Sunday.
“According to Albie Casino's uncle, Ali, the actor still cannot speak because of the injury he sustained on his face after the brawl,” Fullido said on her official Twotter account.
Casiño was allegedly attacked by friends of his former flame, actress Andi Eigenmann, during their encounter at Fiamma late on Friday.
The actor’s mother Rina, who was in Subic at the time, was alerted about the incident by her brother Allee Lee and Albie’s road manager.
According to her, Eigenmann “splashed wine on his (Albie’s) face and slapped him.”
While Eigenmann confirmed that she indeed splashed wine on Casiño’s face, she didn’t slap him.
Face to face finally
In an interview on “The Buzz” on Sunday, Eigenmann reiterated that she was not involved in the brawl that ensued moments after their encounter.
“All I did was to spill wine on is face. And now everybody’s mad at me because he was rushed to the hospital,” she said.
According to Eigenmann, she was attending the birthday party of a friend when she saw Casiño. “For the first time, we went face to face since the last time that I got to see and talk to him. That was when we both found out that I was pregnant,” she told “The Buzz” host Boy Abunda.
“He gave me a look, he shoved me and cursed me,” she narrated. “Sa akin po parang it’s the first time that I’m seeing him again. The last time that I saw him, things didn’t go well. It was bad. I never really spoke about it, I never said anything about him because at that time I loved him and I wanted to protect him. I still have respect for him.
“But after that happened, instead of me being shy, being humble enough to move out or go away or say hello at least, he curses at me.
“Naawa ako sa sarili ko. After that, I spilled wine on him,” the young actress said.
Parking lot brawl
According to Casiño’s mother, Eigenmann’s companions followed his son and his friend to the bar’s parking lot. She identified Eigenmann’s friends as Frank Magalona, Carlos Concepcion, Jeck-Jeck Lacson and Neil Arce.
Albie was allegedly hit on the head with a wine bottle. Moments later, the bar’s bouncer was able to stop the commotion, she said.
Magalona and Concepcion have denied involvement in the incident.
Concepcion, in a post on micro-blogging site Twitter, said he was not in the vicinity when the alleged brawl happened. "I have no involvement with last night's incident. I was nowhere near the vicinity," he said.
Magalona also asserted he was not among Eigenmann's companion that night.
"I was not involved in that incident. I was at Fiamma last night for my friend's birthday. I was not with Andi Eigenmann at all," he said on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Magalona’s mother, Pia, urged an investigation on the incident.
Eigenmann on “The Buzz,” said, “I can’t speak on behalf of them (her friends). Narinig lang po namin lahat ng nangyari. I did not see it.”
She also said she hasn’t talked to her friends yet. “As far as I know, my friends [are not the type of people who beat others],” she told Abunda.
“If I wanted him to get hurt, I could have done that a long time ago,” she said. “But I never seek for revenge.”
Eigenmann even said when she found out that happened to Casiño, she ran outside to look for him.
“I ran up to him. I said ‘Are you okay?’ and then, he curses at me, curses at me, forces me to give names,” she said.
Mother speaks
Casiño’s mother also agreed to an interview with “The Buzz,” where she reiterated her suspicion that the attack on her son was planned.

This is one lady who will fight everyone to get even. The wife of Jose Manalo would never allow herself to lose share in her husband's largesse.

MANILA, Philippines—The wife of Eat Bulaga co-host Jose Manalo is asking a Quezon City court to award her more than P2 million in damages for the “malicious and oppressive” law suit that the show’s producer lodged against her.
Manalo’s estranged wife, Anna Lyn, also sought the junking of a petition for injunction and damages filed by the Television and Production Exponents, Inc.
Anna Lyn filed her 14-page answer with counterclaim in Branch 218 of the Regional Trial Court presided over by Judge Luis Zenon Maceren.
In her pleading, filed through lawyer Lowell John Fetizanan, Manalo’s wife asked to be awarded P2 million for moral and exemplary damages and P100,000 in attorney’s fees.
“Because of the filing of the malicious and oppressive lawsuit that added strain to her marriage, defendant (Anna Lyn) suffered mental anguish, besmirched reputation and serious anxiety and even sleepless nights,” her pleading said.

Angelica Panganiban and John Lloyd Cruz?

Is it true that Angelica Panganiban and Derek Ramsay broke up because of John Lloyd Cruz?

MANILA, Philippines – Is it the end for celebrity couples Derek Ramsay and Angelica Panganiban and John Lloyd Cruz and Shaina Magdayao?
That’s what entertainment editor Ricky Lo was implying in his column at the Philippine Star titled “Headed for splitsville?” which was published on Wednesday.
“When John Lloyd and Angelica came home from Vietnam after shooting some scenes for their new ABS-CBN teleserye, which has no title yet, things didn’t seem the same between them and their respective partners. A rift has suddenly happened between the two pairs and, if not repaired in time, might lead them to splitsville,” Lo wrote.
“Could it be true that while in Vietnam, John Lloyd and Angelica discovered (better late than never!) that they have something in common, that they like the same thing. Did they receive a message in a bottle?” Lo added.
News about the supposed “cool-off” between Ramsay and Panganiban spread on Twitter on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, Ramsay sent an intriguing tweet to his girlfriend. “Be strong (Angelica). We all know who you are and that there is no truth to what's being said. I'm here for you if ever you need anything.”

Will they still believe Piolo Pascual

The latest movie of Piolo with Angelica Panganiban as the leading lady will indicate whether the people will be convinced of KC's revelation. The trouble in the paradise between Derek and Angelica is suspected as a controversy create something to talk about the movie stars. And as usual, people with scandals in their names always invoke the name of God as their witness.

After his highly publicized breakup with actress KC Concepcion, Piolo Pascual said he has been keeping mum about his personal life for fear of being misquoted in news reports.
“Mahirap magsalita. People end up giving different meanings to the things I say,” said Piolo during a recent media gathering for his latest film, “Every Breath U Take.”
The actor was asked to enumerate the qualities he likes in a girlfriend. “I don’t want to be misquoted. Love will come at the right time and for the right person. I remember being asked about my plans for settling down and replying that only time would tell,” said the actor. “Right now, I’m just going with the flow. There are things I need to do for myself first. I have work commitments and I want to focus on them.”
