The Feedback on Piipinas Win na Win

The game show that replaced the Wowowee is suffering birth pains according to the feedback on its premier show. Kris Aquino was observed to throw punchlines at her expense and Robin Padilla's while some hosts did not fully understand some segments of the show.

Here is the news:

The adjustments made for new noontime show “Pilipinas Win na Win” seemed confusing to some of its audience members and to at least one of its co-hosts.

This was obvious during the new “Ping Pong Pang” segment of the program with contestants—apparently used to the “Hep-Hep Hooray” portion of “Wowowee”—looking all baffled and lost. Nonetheless, the hosts, led by the indefatigable Kris Aquino, tried hard to spice up the proceedings with certain quips pointing towards controversies involving none other than herself.

Addressing one of the befuddled contestants participating in the “Ping Pong Pang” segment, Aquino said, “Bagong hiwalay ka din ba?”

Later on, she shared an adage that she recently rediscovered: “Puwedeng maraming asawa pero isa lang ang ating ina.”

She also couldn’t help but touch on the rumors surrounding co-hosts Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez, as she continuously teased the two.

At the onset, with Padilla and Rodriguez standing far apart from each other, she urged the two to move closer. “Baka sabihin simula pa lang ng show pinaghihiwalay ko na kayo,” she quipped.

Later, when she saw the two seemingly whispering sweet nothings to each other, she admonished them by saying, “Robin mamaya na kayo magbulungan, trabaho muna tayo.”

Aquino, also displayed her political inclinations by praising one of the contestants, who revealed herself to be a farmer.

“For the next six years aalagaan natin ang magsasakang Pilipino,” she said, to which co-host Pokwang replied rather asininely, “Sa wakas mura na ang champorado.”

Seeing that one of the doors in the “Open-Susi-Me” portion of the show was in orange, she said: “Mahalin na natin ang orange. Let’s all move on.”

Orange was the color of her brother’s political rival, Manny Villar.

ABS-CBN tried to inject a bit more than usual to the excitement, pulling in some choice talents from their roster to augment proceedings.

Among those who appeared in the show are Piolo Pascual, Jericho Rosales, Cristine Reyes, Xyriel Manabat, EJ Falcon, Quennie Padilla, and Zaijian Jaranilla.
