Sister of Kris said that they were also opposed to her marriage to James Yap

 The sister of Kris Aquino reacted on the interview of Pia Guanio to the mother of James Yap. Viel Aquino Dee said that they were wary about the 10 year gap between Kris and James.

The family of Kris Aquino had opposed her marriage to cager James Yap five years ago because of their 10-year age gap.

“Kung tutuusin (Truth be told), we were also not really for the marriage. First of all, the age difference," said Kris’ sister, Viel Aquino-Dee, in an interview aired over GMA News’ “24 Oras" Monday.

The interview was conducted a day after Yap’s mother, Annie Yap, said she was not in favor of her son’s marriage with Kris because of their different economic status.
