Followers of “Showtime Season 2” are in for the biggest surprise as its resident judge Vice Ganda will no longer be part of the top-rating early morning game show.
This, the stand-up comedian announced on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” July 29. But his absence in the show is only temporary.
“Oo, magpapahinga muna ako. Nagpaalam na ako,” Vice Ganda shared.
The stand-up comedian said he’s not leaving the show because of intrigues hurled against him.
“Hindi naman sa intriga din. Kahit ano naman ang mangyari hindi naman mawawala ‘yong intriga,” he said, adding that he has already informed the Kapamilya management about his plan. “Nagpaalam naman ako.”
He said he’s hesitant to continue with the show because he has some reservations about his comic spiels. He admits his reservoir of jokes has already been depleted and so he needs the respite in able to gather fresh material.
