Dolphy was brought to the hospital

MANILA, Philippines – The son of King of Comedy Dolphy confirmed that his 82-year-old father stayed at the Makati Medical Center last week for his regular check-up and monitoring.
“Nando’n din ako sa Makati Med last week pero hindi naman ako nagtagal. Sumilip lang ako kay Daddy pero okay naman siya. Tiningnan na siya ni Dr. Lopez, ‘yong doktor niya. Okay naman,” explained son and namesake Dolphy Jr. in a phone interview.
He said the veteran actor stayed at the hospital for several days. He was later discharged from the hospital.
Dolphy Jr., however, denied that his father was confined again on Monday.
“Hindi totoo na naka-confine ulit si Daddy. Nagmamadali pa nga akong tawagan siya. Kasi, may mga nagtatanong na nga sa akin. Pero hindi totoo na ibinalik siya sa ospital,” Dolphy Jr. added. As a matter of fact, the son said, Dolphy is now resting at his home in Marikina. “Nando’n lang si Daddy sa house niya, nagpapahinga, kasi may taping siya bukas (Tuesday).”
