Yeng Constatino dreamt and now a dreamer no more

The winner of the Pinoy Dreamer Academy, she is a petite and pretty 18-year-old high-school graduate from Rizal. The youngest of five children of a school librarian she was the crowd's favorite and 697,648 votes from the viewers after hours of musical showdowns on December 16 that ended at 1:30 a.m. on December 17 at the Araneta Coliseum.

Constantino is already an accomplished composer (she wrote the hit song “Hawak Kamay”), won P1 million in cash, a condo unit, a car, a multimillion-peso business franchise and home appliances among other prizes.

Coming in as first runner-up is young Cebuano rocker Eduardo Jay-R Siaboc Jr. who earned 611,757 votes.

Siaboc was awarded P500,000, a title to a condo unit, a business franchise and home appliances.

Ronnie Liang from Pampanga came in second runner-up with 558,912 votes. He won for himself and for his family P250,000 and prizes similar in kind to those of Constantino and Siaboc.


The Top 3 winners came from low-income families.
