Grace Ibuna nagsalita na

Gaya ng pangako niya, nagsalita na si Grace Ibuna tungkol sa relasyon nila ni Iggy Arroyo at ang tunay niyang damdamin sa namatay na kongresista.

MANILA, Philippines – Grace Ibuna, the partner of the late Negros Occidental Rep. Ignacio “Iggy” Arroyo, denied that she is only after Arroyo’s money.
In an exclusive interview with “The Buzz” aired on Sunday, Ibuna said she sincerely loved Arroyo for the six years that they were together and that she was never after Arroyo’s properties.
Ibuna also said she came from a comfortable family even before she met Arroyo.
“Hindi naman ako sa nagyayabang. Hindi kami mga Ayala or Zobel, Gokongwei, Sy or Tan but I have two hardworking parents. We lived well. Lumaki kami ng maayos at hindi rin naman kami mahirap but we lived a very comfortable life. We are all working, we are all entrepreneurs,” she said.
On the issue of being the “other woman,” Ibuna challenged everyone to look up on the definition of “mistress” in the dictionary.

“Alam naman natin ang ibig sabihin ng kabit. Buksan mo ang Webster, Oxford, Miriam dictionary, Wikipedia, buksan niyo. Ang ibig sabihin ng kabit yung nagsasama pa ang dalawang tao sa iisang bubong, they still share one common bed at ikaw ay tinatago. 'Yun ang mistress. 'Yun ang kabit,” she said.
Ibuna said she is saddened that her family is already being affected by the issue.
“Ang sakit nun lalo na sa mga magulang ko because they know the truth. Nasaktan ako because I know it’s not true,” she said.
Ibuna said she kept mum for a long time because she “really wanted a dignified burial for (Arroyo).”
“Hindi ko naman ito gusto eh. Ayaw ko patulan. What for? The truth is I was grieving. Sobrang sakit hindi mo maintindihan kung saan nanggaling ang sakit,” she said.
As to the accusations that she is enjoying the media exposure, Ibuna said: “Ako, gusto ko umeksena? Sino bang nag-umpisang magsalita? Kulang na lang pati pagpasok nila ng banyo pakunan nila. May narinig kayo sa akin? Wala. Araw-araw sila nasa media. Lahat na lang yata ng channel nilabasan nila. Kulang na lang pati Nickelodeon labasan nila eh. Pero ako ba sumagot? Hindi.”
Ibuna also dismissed the issue alleging that she was the one who unplugged Arroyo from the life-support machine.
