Director Joey Reyes apologized to Alfie Lorenzo

Direk Joey admits 'fault,' apologizes

Do you think it is his fault?

MANILA, Philippines – Talent manager and entertainment writer Alfie Lorenzo expressed his dismay over having been allegedly bypassed by actress Judy Ann Santos in accepting an independent film project.

Lorenzo cried foul over Santos' participation in the Cinemalaya Film Festival entry "Mga Mumunting Lihim," for which she refused to be paid despite her leading role in the Jose Javier Reyes-directed film.
Santos' long-time talent manager also vented his frustration over Reyes' supposed lack of respect, for not having informed him of the young superstar's pro bono involvement in the project.
"Matagal na kaming magkakilala ni Joey Reyes. Ang hinihintay ko lang, 'yung respeto man lang, na sabihin ni Joey, 'Gagamitin ko artista mo ah, pero libre,'" Lorenzo told entertainment talk show "Paparazzi" in an interview that aired Saturday.

Baby Lucho-Juday and Ryan;s Baby

MANILA, Philippines - Like how they managed to skirt the public on their wedding day, Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos have kept people from seeing their son Juan Luis' photos until now.
The showbiz couple wanted to have the baby baptized first before letting the public have a glimpse of Lucho, Juan Luis' nickname.

"It was just a matter of time before this picture of baby Lucho was to be shared to the press. It was just the family's request to wait until after the baptism was done," Mr. and Mrs. Agoncillo relayed to Bulletin Entertainment via an email sent by Ryan's manager Noel Ferrer.

Madali namang mag-adjust.”

So far, after the wedding wala pa silang pinagtatalunan.

In fact, kahit sa wedding preparations nila, wala silang naging argumento.

In fairness, magandang lumabas ang coverage nila.

Well, hindi sila magiging ganito sigurado in real life.

Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos on Startalk

This is the transcript of the interview of startalk with the newly-wed couple, Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos.

Juday, who was laughing in the first few seconds after she answered the phone, was immediately asked by Lolit as to what they were doing that very moment. "Bakit ganyan tawa mo, Juday? Parang liga-ligaya mo?"

After the laughs died down, Joey asked Juday what she and Ryan felt after they accomplished their private wedding.

"Maliban sa sobrang saya namin, e, sobrang thankful din kami sa lahat ng taong naki-cooperate sa amin," Juday said. "Sa mga taong nakaalam na, pero nag-decide na ibigay sa amin ang araw na 'yon. Kung kami lang ni Ryan, e, hindi namin magagawa ito. Pero talagang nagpapasalamat kami dahil inintindi kami ng mga tao. Ako ang pinakamasayang tao sa mundo ngayon!"

Juday added that there was no march of the entourage and the only people who walked down the aisle were Sharon Cuneta (Matron of Honor), Juday's adopted child Yohan (flower girl), and Juday herself.

"Kaming tatlo lang ang nag-march," said Juday. "It was very solemn, very simple. Habang nagbibigay ng sermon si Father [Tito Caluag] para lang kaming nagkukuwentuhan. Ang sayang seremonyas dahil masayang-masaya kami ni Ryan. Para lang kami nasa park ni Ryan na punong-puno ng flowers."

Lolit asked if Juday's mom Carol and her estranged father kissed.

Kidding aside, Juday said that her parents were very civil and she was thankful that they were all together. "Natupad na din ang wish ko na magkaroon kami ng family picture," Juday gaily said.

So what can Juday say about the people who got bitter over the fact that they were not invited or were not invited to cover the event?

Juday further explained that the reception held last night, May 2, was for both networks ABS-CBN and GMA-7) and all reporters who helped them along the way and for all friends.

Lolit asked to speak with Ryan. After his hello, Lolit asked, "Parang pagod na pagod ka, Ryan? Ano ginawa mo bakit ka napagod?"

A laughing Ryan joked, "Nagpapahanap ako ng balot, gusto ko yung maliit yung sisiw..."

After the laughing died down, Lolit remarked that a TV host was saying a lot of things about Juday and Ryan and it was something Mommy Carol was upset about. What is Ryan's take on this?

"Mayroon nga po nagkuwento sa akin noon," said Ryan, "pero sa totoo lang, hindi po talaga ako makakapagkomento nang tama at matalino sa bagay na hindi ko napanood, e. Kaya, puwede maging masaya na lang ako at busy pa ako sa pagiging masaya."

"Tama yun at mahirap na kalaban mga powerful. Powerful 'yon!" quipped Joey.

Joey's joke hit its mark as all laughed at his joke. On a serious note, Joey asked if there was now a limitation on what projects Juday or Ryan would accept.

"Wala naman magbabago in terms of working," Ryan said. "It's just that now, mas dodoble ang pagpursige ko kasi siyempre, nandoon na ako sa stage na padre de pamilya. Yun lang po ang magbabago. Mas lalo pa maghahanap ng opportunities, not only for me but for the family I have now."

How about the honeymoon? Was their plan to have a honeymoon in Mexico cancelled because of the Swine Flu?

"Ay, hindi naman, at isa lang 'yon sa naisipan," Ryan said. "Sa totoo, may nagregalo sa amin—si Sir Gabby Lopez [ABS-CBN Chairman]—ng stay sa Shangri-La, sa Boracay. So, 'yon lang muna ang honeymoon namin dahil for the whole week, tatapusin namin yung bahay dahil final touches na para sigurado na pagkatapos ng Boracay, e, madala na namin yung Sto. Niño sa bahay."

Mother of Judy Ann Santos cried on her wedding

The father of Judy Ann Santos came and her mother cried during the wedding.

The mother of young superstar Judy Ann Santos said Tuesday she cried when her youngest daughter and actor Ryan Agoncillo exchanged “I dos” in San Juan, Batangas.

“Crying galore. I always cry at weddings kapag nag-aanak ako ng kasal. What more kung bunso ko?” Carol, popularly called Mommy Carol, said in an interview on radio dzMM.

Mommy Carol said she was touched by Agoncillo's gesture when the groom embraced and thanked her for giving her blessings to the union.

“Ryan hugged me and said: 'Thanks for giving me Judai.' Talagang nakakatuwa,” she said.

Very solemn

Mommy Carol described the wedding at San Juan Nepomuceno Church as very solemn, non-traditional and very simple - just like Judai wanted it.

"Whenever she saw a showbiz wedding [Judai] would say: 'I don't want that.' Her dream wedding really came true," she said.

Instead of a wedding packed with guests and papparazi, the couple decided to invite a few close friends and relatives to the ceremony. Santos’ father also arrived from Los Angeles to attend the wedding.

The ceremony was also a non-traditional affair. Instead of the usual processional, only Judai, her matron of honor Megastar Sharon Cuneta, and adopted daughter Johanna Lois or Yohan, walked down the aisle.

The private ceremony, which was closed to the media, started at around 7 a.m. and was finished in less than an hour. “There was a Mass at 8 a.m. so the wedding was a bit rushed. Even the photo-op was rushed. We finished at a quarter to 8,” Mommy Carol said.

She said the song “The Prayer” was specifically requested by her daughter. It was sung by Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid during the offertory.

She said Cuneta and husband Sen. Francis Pangilinan had to leave after the breakfast reception to celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary Tuesday.

White wedding

Other details of the wedding stood out for its simplicity and elegance.

The wedding invitation was placed inside a box, which had one white flip-flop. The invitation read: "Eto na 'to. Inuman na. Punta kang nakaputi (This is it. It's drinking time. Come in white)." There was no date on the invitation.

Ramon Isberto, one of the principal sponsors, said the wedding's white motif gave the ceremony a "nice, fresh, happy effect."

He said the guests, including the sponsors, were just told to wear white, and many of them did not wear the usual formal wedding clothes. Some of the guests even wore white shorts and white rubber slippers.

"The whole wedding was casual and the attire had something to do with it," he said. "Maganda tingnan, malinis....Hindi masagwa tingnan because of the all-white effect."

As a result of the happy and light mood, he said "everyone clapped when Judai arrived."

Isberto, a mentor-friend of Agoncillo's, said there were no powerful and wealthy sponsors even if the couple could have had as many as they wanted.

"Walang sikat na sponsor. We're just people who they can easily turn to for advice," he said.

Aside from Isberto, the couple's principal sponsors include ace photographer Bien Bautista, Ryan's uncle Benjie Gonzales, TV host Susie Entrata-Abrera, director Rory Quintos, and Jane Buencamino, Judy Ann's road manager.

In his sermon, Fr. Tito Caluag, the couple's spiritual adviser, said Santos and Agoncillo have been through a lot in their relationship, which is why he is confident they will be able to handle their marriage.

'We thought it was Korina's wedding'

The wedding took many people by surprise including some of the guests. Earlier news reports said the wedding was scheduled on May 2.

A source who works in San Juan Nepomuceno Church said the staff knew that there was going to be a high profile wedding but the parish priest did not tell them who was getting married.

He said he knew that it was a celebrity wedding when the crew arrived Monday night for the sound system and lights but the identities of the couple remained a mystery.

"It was very mysterious. We thought it was Korina," he said, referring to ABS-CBN broadcaster Korina Sanchez who recently announced her engagement to Sen. Manuel Roxas.

Mom’s wish

Mommy Carol said her only wish for her daughter and Agoncillo is for their marriage to last forever.

"I don't want it to be too showbiz where you marry today and separate tomorrow. It took [Judai] so long to really find somebody na magugustuhan niya. Deserved naman niya maging happy,” she said.

“For the longest time, walang ginawa yan kundi [magtrabaho para] sa aming family… So, ngayon sabi ko nga sa kanya start your own family. Dapat forever silang magsama.”

Father of Judy Ann Santos came for the wedding

I know nothing about the father of Judy Ann Santos. She invited her despite the fact that he left them when she was still young.

Here is the story:

Judy Ann Santos’ wedding to Ryan Agoncillo has reunited the young actress with her father after years of not seeing each other.

Her father, Manuel, flew to the Philippines to be with her daughter in her special day. Manuel is now living in the United States with his second family.

Her mother, Carol, and siblings Jackie and Jeffrey were also present in the event.

Santos’ parents had separated when the actress was still young. A Wikipedia entry on the actress said her mother, Carol, had single-handedly raised the young actress and her two siblings by working as a caregiver in Toronto, Canada.

In the wedding footage, an emotional Santos tightly embraced her father, who was waiting at the altar, before turning to her groom.

As Santos walked down the aisle, Noel Ferrer, Agoncillo’s talent manager, shared that almost everyone present at San Juan Nepomuceno Church in San Juan, Batangas were crying.

Ferrer, who helped in the preparations, said Santos was the one crying the most because she achieved her dream wedding, which was an event to be attended by family and close friends only and away from the public’s eyes.

The newlyweds took everyone by surprise when they got married in the morning of April 28.

Agoncillo proposed marriage to Santos on her 30th birthday last year. They revealed the engagement a month later.

The couple had been mum about the actual date of their wedding with some news reports have said that the wedding was supposedly scheduled on May 2

JUDY ANN SANTOS ANS RYAN AGONCILLO' S WEDDING ACCOUNT

I like to keep this here for the fans before it is buried in the newspapers archive.

MABINI, Batangas, Philippines — From my vantage point, three tables away from where they were, a lovely scene was what I saw. He peeled a prawn for her while she put beef Thai curry on his plate. From time to time, they would whisper to each other then burst into guffaws. In between bites, he planted a kiss or two on her cheek. She would reply by caressing his face. Such love existed between Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos at the very romantic sunset wedding dinner reception on April 28 at Balai Anilao, a cozy resort in this town.

“Thank you for being part of this treasure hunt. You really have to be here,” Ryan told the more than 200 guests, referring to how everybody tried to keep the details of their wedding under wraps.

Earlier that day, there were only more than 80 of us who witnessed their 7 a.m. exchange of vows at the San Juan Nepomuceno church in the town of San Juan, three hours away from Balai Anilao by either boat or car.

“This is such a perfect moment. This is exactly how I envisioned it to be. Thank you,” Juday said, profusely punctuating her speech that night with gratitude.

Taking turns in hosting the dinner program were Juday’s best friend and Ploning director Dante Nico Garcia, KC Concepcion, Tuesday Vargas and Agot Isidro-Sandejas (who sang Runaway when Juday walked down the aisle in the church). Entertainment was provided by the APO Hiking Society and Session Road band. The party ended way past midnight.

When APO’s Buboy Garovillo, Jim Paredes and Danny Javier sang Panalangin, the couple stood up and did their first dance. How they tenderly held each other as they danced sent many guests crying. Again.

In the church wedding earlier, everybody cried, too, when Juday melted in Ryan’s arms as they met by the altar. At the end of the wedding rites that lasted for 45 minutes, Ryan kissed his wife for 17 seconds, ending it with a 31-second of tender embrace.

The air of elegance at the dinner reception was all the more heightened when the Chiang Mai white lanterns, about 20 of them, floating in the sea were lighted and flew in mid-air. The lanterns gyrated towards the horizon, illuminating the darkness of the night.

The sumptuous dinner of roasted calf, Vietnamese spring rolls, Thai beef curry, inihaw na liempo, chapchae, sushi and sashimi among other Asian delights was catered by Gene Gonzalez of Café Ysabel. Gonzalez was Juday’s culinary instructor when she took up culinary arts a few years ago.

Café Ysabel also catered the primero — a quick-bite spread composed of pandesal, kesong puti, churros and tsokolate-e among others — that we took around 5 a.m. of April 28 before we headed to the church for the matrimonial ceremony.

The night before the wedding, Juday and Ryan’s closest friends and family of more than 80 people were housed in three simple yet cozy resorts that are adjacent to each other in Brgy. Hugom in San Juan — Balai-Laiya Resort, Taramindo Resort and Tivona Resort.

My best friend and Cinema Evaluation Board chairman Christine Dayrit and I were given Sampaloc Room No. 9 at the Balai-Laiya. It was a cozy but comfortable thatch-roofed cottage with bamboo slat flooring. Below our room was where Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez stayed. They later sang The Prayer at the wedding.

Across our room, at Sampaloc Room No. 3, were Juday and Yohan, her four-year-old “mini me.” Above their room was where Susie Entrata and husband Paolo Abrera spent the night. Ryan and his friends who flew in from the States stayed in a three-floored cottage just a few meters away from where Juday was. Some guests opted to stay in tents by the beachside.

Film and TV director Joyce Bernal was in charge of the rooming assignments of the guests. Names of the guests were handwritten on a one-fourth-sized yellow paper, then taped outside the rooms.

Guests left the resorts at 5 a.m. for the supposedly 6:30 a.m. ceremony. As early as 2 a.m., sought-after makeup artist Juan Sarte was already putting makeup on Juday as Jing Monis styled her hair. Sharon Cuneta was exchanging early morning laughter with Juday while the latter was being dolled up. Ryan did his own grooming.

After the simple and heart-warming church wedding, Gonzalez and his team prepared a brunch reception composed of Pinoy specialties like tapa, tocino, longaniza, daing na bangus and danggit at the Balai-Laiya Resort. Guests were seated on four long rectangular and five tables covered with Indian fabric table cloths and accentuated with Robert Blancaflor’s masterful flower arrangements of white roses, cabbage-like cacti, phaleanopsis orchids and dwarf ferns. As we ate brunch, we were serenaded by Ed and Tina Pasamba’s sextet.

All of us were given two hours to freshen up before we headed to the sunset dinner reception at Balai-Anilao. To get to the dinner reception, guests had to be ferried for three hours to Anilao by three big motorized bancas.

Ryan and Juday changed outfits before they took the banca ride. So did most of their guests. White polo and pants for Ryan’s boat wear and a mini baby lace off-white dress for Juday.

At Balai-Anilao, the couple and their more than 80 guests were met by about 150 more VIPs who were just asked to attend the sunset dinner reception. This included ABS-CBN’s Charo Santos and Cory Vidanes and TAPE’s Tony Tuviera who all gave a short speech of congratulations to the couple.

But before they entertained their guests, the couple and their daughter Yohan changed their outfits again for the third time. This time, Juday was wearing an empire-cut tube dress whose very delicate Swiss lace fabric was sourced by Paul Cabral in Paris. Ryan was wearing a white shirt under a gray vest and pants, designed by Jerome Lorico, whom the groom met while he was hosting the show Talentadong Pinoy. Yohan was in a white eyelet dress. The three all came wearing white Arizona-styled Birkenstock slippers. Cabral and Lorico respectively designed the off-white wedding gown and gray suit of Juday and Ryan and all their change of clothes.

Those who opted to ride the car going to the sunset dinner had to take 100 steps going down the beachside dinner reception area in Balai-Anilao. The three-tiered wedding carrot walnut cake at the reception was masterfully done by Penk Ching of Pastry Bin. The cake had “edible photographs” of Ryan and Juday kissing as its design. Those pictures in silhouette were reproduction of the actual shots of the couple during their many travels around the world.

Security was so tight that even guests were not allowed to bring in their cameras and cellphones inside the church or at the reception areas. Official photographers of the wedding were photography masters Patrick Uy and Raymund Isaac.

“The couple invited only the closest of their friends and family because they wanted to keep it simple,” said Noel Ferrer, manager of Ryan. The invite, which came in a rectangular native brown box read: “Eto na ‘to. Inuman na! Punta kang nakaputi. Sikreto lamang natin ‘to ah.” Most guests got their invites four days before the wedding via mail. The invite also came with the left pair of slipper. The other pair was claimed at the dinner reception. The slippers became the “official” footwear of the guests at the wedding dinner.

Juday’s and Ryan’s names were not mentioned in the invite. Many, however, were able to figure out whose wedding it was when they called the R.S.V.P. number of Rita Neri, the country’s premier wedding coordinator. Neri’s office confirmed it was indeed the wedding of Ryan and Juday and they never gave further information.

A sense of adventure was definitely an intrinsic ingredient of the wedding and only those who were truly close to the couple would understand the reason behind the thrill and suspense.

A month before the wedding, Ryan and Juday sent text messages to their invited guests for their complete names, home addresses and the sizes of their feet. Many guessed that a wedding invitation would follow after they sent them back the information needed. But the couple kept mum about it.

“Juday and I just want to surprise you,” Ryan told me when I asked him why he was asking those details from me almost a month ago. The couple prepared for their wedding only for two months.

Even us who were present on the eve of their wedding were still guessing on the activities that would take place in the wedding. The couple and their suppliers were simply quiet about them. Till the end, everything was a surprise for the guests.

“As we said, we still want to surprise you,” Juday said. So their guests simply went with the flow and they were happily surprised as one beautiful event took place after the other.

The couple’s love affair blossomed four years ago at the set of Krystala, a fantaserye topbilled by Juday. Ryan was one of her leading men in that TV show. When their feelings for each other bloomed, the Balai-Anilao resort became their rendezvous.

They were engaged on May 11, 2008, the day Juday turned 30, at Antulang in Dumaguete. Ryan turned 30 last April 10.

The morning after their wedding, the couple told me on the phone, they woke up “happy and hungry.”

“We’re still feeling very high!” Ryan told me, adding that they just woke up. That was already 11:45 a.m. They spent the night at a vacation house which was just beside Balai Anilao, the resort that served as their rendezvous when their affair started to bloom. They will leave Batangas today to get ready for their May 2 reception at Le Soufflé in Rockwell. Juday told me they will live in the house they built in a village in Alabang in two weeks.

“By the way, we plan to have a kid soon,” Ryan told me in between giggles. “And there’s a reception on May 2 and I plan to get her pregnant by then.”

Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo to wed in May 2

This is not confirmed yet but according to Ricky Lo, the wedding of Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo is in May 2.

JUDY ANN SANTOS MAKIKIPAGSAPALARAN?

I really do not know what kind of title does German Moreno use to attract the readers like this.
Juday makikipagsapalaran sa pagpapakasal kay Ryan

It connotes something like Ryan is a high risk for marriage. sheesh.

Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo prepare to settle down

Among the popular couple, I like Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo. I do not like her manager though who wants her ward to remain single. Sheesh.

From PEP.

GETTING READY TO SETTLE DOWN.

Mabubuo siya, hopefully, by March or April."

"Of course, si Yohan kasama. At saka, yung bahay naman namin sa Commonwealth, ano talaga yun, kumbaga, I promised to myself na time will come, ibibigay ko sa mommy ko yun.

Siyempre, nandoon yung lungkot. Pero, nandoon din yung I have to face it because If I won't, hindi ko mararanasan ang buhay kung paano maging isang asawa, maging isang ina.

"At saka, naituro na rin naman sa akin ni Mommy ang lahat. Hindi rin naman ito ibig sabihin na kapag nagpakasal ka, ide-detach mo ang sarili mo sa pamilya mo. Siguro, it's just about time na isipin mo naman ang sarili mo."

TITO ALFIE'S VIEW.

Just enjoy the moment, whether kasal kayo or hindi. Hindi na kailangan ng wedding."

KEEPING IT SIMPLE. Anyway, both Ryan and Juday's idea on their wedding is simple.

"We really wanted it to be a personal and private wedding, so...but, hindi naman ibig sabihin nun na banned sila. Of course not, hindi... Hindi rin naman namin puwedeng kalimutan ang lahat ng media na prumotekta rin naman sa amin. Of course not, hindi. Siguro panaka-nakang photos and videos, yung ganoon.

"Pero ise-share rin namin. Of course, naiintindihan ko rin na kahit papaano, gusto rin na makita ng mga tao yung araw na ikakasal ako."

President Gloria Arroyo supported PLONING

It is good news for Judy Ann Santos who has been working hard to raise funds to reproduce dubbed copies of her movie Ploning for submission to the Academy Awards. While other sector was criticizing the young actress for her project, President Gloria Macapagal ordered the release of one million for Ploning.

MANILA, Philippines -- President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo released P1 million to the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) to support the bid of "Ploning," the country's entry to the 81st Academy Awards or Oscars, Malacañang said.

The movie stars Judy Ann Santos, a popular movie and television actress who rose to fame in the early 1990s in the late afternoon soap opera "Mara Clara."

The P1 million sourced from the Presidential Social Fund will be used to finance preview screenings, distribute DVD copies of the movie, advertisements in Hollywood publications, and other publicity materials, the statement said.

With the financial boost, the Palace said it hoped that "Ploning" would reach nine-entry semifinals, or even be among the final five nominees for Best Foreign Language Film, an honor that has eluded the Philippines.

"Ploning" is among the 67 official entries to the Oscars, the Palace said.

Santos was supposed to receive the money from Presidential Management Staff Chief Cerge Remonde in Malacañang at a 3 p.m. conference, but she had not shown up as of 5 p.m.

Alfie Lorenzo versus Ryan Agoncillo

Though I like Judy Ann Santos, I never care about her talent manager, Alfie Lorenzo. He still sports that unprofessionalism typical of an entertainment columnist turned manager who does not hesitate to divulge the secrets of his ward once he feels offended. Tsee niya.

Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo are two decent showbiz personalities who do not wage word war with anybody who step on their toes.

While Alfie Lorenzo was already yakyaking about Judy Ann when he learned that Judy Ann decided to hire a lawyer to oversee her contract, the young star did not negatively react.

MANILA, Philippines—Last Sunday on “The Buzz,” manager Alfie Lorenzo explained talent Judy Ann Santos’ hesitance to sign a new contract with ABS-CBN, thus: “She wanted to consult a lawyer... Maybe [she’s conferring with] Atty. Agoncillo.”

Lorenzo was obviously alluding to Santos’ fiancé, Ryan Agoncillo.

‘All is well’

As expected, Agoncillo was deluged with all sorts of inquiries about Lorenzo’s comment during the press conference on Tuesday of the latest Kapamilya series, “Pieta.”

Agoncillo tried to nip the controversy in the bud. “I don’t want to make a statement out of respect to Tito Alfie and Judai,” he told Inquirer Entertainment.

The actor added that he discussed the issue with Lorenzo the night before. “I told him how I felt; and he told me how he felt. All is well...”

At press time, Santos and Lorenzo have also settled their differences.

Agoncillo made one thing clear: He doesn’t meddle in his fiancée’s business affairs.

“People often overlook the fact that Judai is very much capable of making decisions on her own,” he said. “She wouldn’t have become this successful if she weren’t wise to the ways of the industry.”

He continued: “She has her own decision-making process and I am not part of that. Being her fiancé doesn’t give me the right to interfere. If she chooses to open up to me, I can only listen and give assurance...”

Santos accords him the same respect, he said. “We have complete trust in each other’s competence in our respective careers...”

As for the intrigues, Agoncillo readily shrugged them off. “I just take everything in stride.”

Apart from “Pieta,” he hosts the TV5 talent search “Talentadong Pinoy.” He is also hosting the forthcoming ABS-CBN reality show, “Pinoy Fear Factor.”

Also in the works is a co-starring job with KC Concepcion and Richard Gutierrez in GMA Films’ Valentine offering directed by Jose Javier Reyes.

Judy Ann Santos pregnant?

First the intrigue...

"Nagulat nga ako nung marinig ko ‘yan. Yung, ‘Ha? Saan nanggaling ang isyu na ‘yan?' Para sa akin, yung pagbubuntis, isang bagay na hindi ko naman itinatago. Dapat ko pa nga ika-proud yun dahil 30 na ako. Ipagsisigawan ko sa buong mundo kung buntis na ako. Hindi ako buntis!" ulit ni Judy Ann.

Then the good news:

Ibinalita sa Entertainment Live! noong Sabado, August 23, na malapit nang ipalabas ang nurserye ni Judy Ann Santos sa ABS-CBN na pinamagatang Humingi Ako Sa Langit. Bukod dito, magiging editor-in-chief din si Judy Ann sa isang special edition ng isang magazine na lalabas ngayong Oktubre.

Juday has been in the showbiz for decades now and she is one of the level headed celebrities that I've known.

I also approve of her choice of the boyfriend. I am a fan. I admit.

JUDY ANN SANTOS AND RYAN AGONCILLO ARE ENGAGED

When I read this news about the engagement of Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo, I feel happy for them. Isn't it time for them to commit themselves to each other.
They have been together everywhere, here or abroad, what is stopping them to seal their love to each other?

Here is an excerpt of the news from PEP.

When news came out about the diamond ring that Judy Ann Santos was wearing, people speculated that it was not just a birthday gift from her boyfriend of three years, Ryan Agoncillo. In fact, some thought that it was already an engagement ring. But both Judy Ann and Ryan kept mum about it. Instead, they just kept on saying, "Nag-iipon pa."

Well, showbiz denizens can now stop guessing. Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo finally agreed to YES! magazine's nagging request for a tell-all interview.

Juday gave YES! the privilege to announce their engagagement. "It's official, Judy Ann and Ryan are engaged!" shouts the cover of its July 2008 issue.

In her interview with YES! associate editor Anna Pingol, the young superstar hoped that her friends in media will understand her decision to talk to YES! first.

JUDY ANN SANTOS IN HOT WATER FOR THE MERALCO INFOMERCIAL

First, I do not know why JUDY ANN SANTOS was made to be speak about justification of charging systems loss of MERALCO. bakeeeeeeeeeeet?

Second, with all the news of negative relationship between her manager and the ABS-CBN people, why Judy Ann Santos whose transfer to GMA 7 is being floated by Alfie Lorenzo.

What will the boycott of the VACC and the inquiry that is planned to call Judy Ann Santos do with Meralco's decision.

I think the people are not that stupid to believe Judy Ann Santos. They may be fans but not too fanatic to swallow whatever Judy Ann would endorse or support.

They should run after Meralco and not shoot the messenger. DUH.

According to Gabriela Rep.Luzviminda Ilagan, Judy Ann should have not let herself be used by the alleged abusive Lopez-owned electric company. Hey,the lady is just trying to earn a living. Sheesh.

Manila district representative Bienvenido Abante, Jr. would like to investigate what possible solution could be taken against Judy Ann?

Pakiesplika nga.

The Q and A portion was brief since most of the reporters would like a solo interview with the movie actresses.

instead of a photoop that was supposed to be scheduled at the photowall, an exclusive interview of the endorsers by Ricky Lo was held.

The interview lasted for thirty minutes but waiting time again for the endorsers started when the endorsers were escorted back to the restroom to refresh their make -up.
