Garrie Concepcion defended her mother Grace Ibuna

 Garrie Concepcion, the half-sister of KC Concecpcion being the daughter of Gabby Concepcion to Grace Ibuna defended her mother from her detractors.

MANILA, Philippines — Up and coming singer Garrie Concepcion finally granted an interview to clear issues hounding her stepfather Negros Occidental Rep. Ignacio “Iggy” Arroyo’s death.
Garrie, 22, is the daughter of businesswoman Grace Ibuna by actor Gabby Concepcion.
Ibuna, the late Rep. Arroyo’s partner until he passed away January 26 due to cardiac arrest, said they were together for six years.
Growing up in the Arroyo brood with her siblings, Garrie described her family to be very happy. She also felt blessed to have had two fathers in Concepcion and Arroyo.
“Gusto ko lang pong sabihin sa lahat na very blessed ako to have two fathers. With Dada (Arroyo), doon ko po nakita na talagang masaya ang mommy ko. He really loved my mom so much. He loved me and my siblings so much like we were his own children,” she said in an interview with “The Buzz,” March 4.
An emotional Garrie shared that her family spent Christmas and New Year in London, where the late Arroyo underwent treatment since October 2011 for cirrhosis of the liver.
What hurt more apart from her “Dada’s” passing is the accusation that Ibuna was only after her late partner’s wealth.
