As always, sa away nina Gretchen Barretto at Nadia Montenegro,sa una siya kumakampi for obvious reason – ang datung. Ha! Ha! Ha!

Ano pa ba naman kasi ang maibibigay sa kanya ni Nadia pagkatapos na mailit ang P90 M mansion nila ni Mayor Asistio?

Ha! Ha! Ha! Talaga naman, when money talks, people tend tolose their head and their sanity as well, along with their objectivity or sense of fairness. Ha! Ha! Ha!

Para sa amin, hindi naman siguro magri-react nang ganun si Nadia kung walang ginawang di kagandahan sa kanya si Greta.

In the first place, why was Nadia so emotional while Greta was acting like Elvira, the vampy witch?

Mas aktres kasi si Gretchen and she knows how to play her trump cards pretty well.

When on cam, she knows how to get public sympathy by feigning innocence. Kunu-kuno, people are ganging up on her and she’s the aggrieved party.

Kaya tigil-tigilan na ng taling-harap na kolumnista na ‘to ang pagbira kay Nadia dahil mas malinis naman ito kung sa kanilangdalawa lang ni Greta, ‘noh?

Imagine, makikipag-confrontation siya kay Nadia pero take note! Hindi si Tonyboy ang kasama niya kundi si Mr. Puno.

Ano ba ang gusto ni-yang palabasin?

Latest News about Nora Aunor

Knowing how long it is to apply for a greencard, the coming home of Nora Aunor may take sometime.

This is the news:

Noranians have a reason to celebrate: Their idol is taking the necessary steps to return to her motherland.

After being away for the country for the past three years and six months, Nora Aunor has just filed for her green card in the United States. This permanent residence card will allow her to live and work permanently in the United States. When she gets this green card, the Superstar of Philippine cinema will be able to leave the US freely for vacation or work purposes.

In fact, her manager, Norie Sayo, is back in the Philippines to facilitate the return of her ward, who will definitely resume her showbiz career.

PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) had a talk with her during Ms. Wilma Galvante's posh birthday party last night, February 22, at the Imperial Palace Suites in Quezon City. Norie was present during the 56th birthday celebration of GMA-7's senior vice-president for entertainment to oversee the performance of her band Spirit of ‘67.

She explains that they are waiting for the approval of the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) before Nora can finally return to the Philippines, where her legions of fans are waiting. Norie reveals that Nora filed for her green card only last December 2007.

CONTROVERSIES. Despite the fact the Nora is in the US, controversies had continued to chase the Superstar. Last year, it was put out in PEP that Nora had married her manager Norie. In the Marriage Inquiry System of Clark County in Las Vegas, there is an entry indicating that she and Nora got married in May 22, 2000.

The latter finally spoke up regarding her supposed marriage to her ward: She denied.

According to her, Massachusetts is the only state that allows same-sex marriages, so it would be impossible for them to get married in Las Vegas.

Anyone can get married in any State even the couple of the same gender. It does not mean however that it will be recognized the aame as the heterogenous marriage where the couple can claim each other as dependent.

The fact that it is registered, the officiating minister must have registered it.

Norie even pointed out that they are staying in separate homes: Nora lives in Los Angeles, while she resides in San Francisco.

As far as I know my friend saw Nora using BART from the East Bay going to her lawyer maybe in SF downtown. BART is the train commuter in SF and suburbs.

After talking to her lawyers, she surmised that someone else applied for this permit, which is why an entry bearing their names was included in the said database.

Norie also clarified that Nora did not spend time in prison and that all her drug tests turned out negative. This is in reaction to the drug charges filed against Ate Guy (Nora's nickname) in 2005 for alleged possession of methamphetamine or shabu. The case was dismissed by the Superior Court of Los Angeles after she completed an 18-month drug rehabilitation program.

There would be no drug rehab if there is no drug abuse.

When asked Nora's reaction to these controversial news items about her: she said she just laughs it off and ask themselves, "Saan na naman nanggaling yun?"

Norie also recalled an instance when Nora told her, "May sumulat na uuwi na raw ako, gagawa raw ako ng teleserye, ng movie."

"Paano mangyayari yun, e, wala pa naman akong nakausap? Where is this all coming from? I really don't know," said the perplexed manager.

Does Nora miss the Philippines? Norie paused a while before answering, "Doon, nakakapaglakad siya. Nagpupunta siya sa grocery...She can do things there that she cannot do here."

When her papers are fixed, will Nora be returning to the Philippines? "Definitely," assured Norie. "I'm here para ihanda ko ang pagbalik niya pero I can't even make preparations kasi paano ako makikipag-usap sa isang producer kung hindi ko pa alam kung kelan ang dating niya? When we get a go-signal from the immigration lawyer na nagha-handle ng papeles namin, saka lang ako kikilos.

"The most logical thing to do is to wait for the advice of the immigration lawyers,"

I still am a fan of Nora but I just hate spin doctors. Her drug dependence does not make her a bad actress.

Naibalita dito sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kahapon, February 21, na ang pagkikita nina Nadia at Gretchen sa Hotel Rembrandt ay hindi nauwi sa pag-aayos ng dalawa.

Kinumpirma naman ito nina Cristy Fermin at Jobert Sucaldito sa kanilang radio program na Showbiz Mismo na televised sa dzMM Teleradyo. Si Cristy ang namuno ng pagbabati sanang ito nina Gretchen at Nadia. Si Cristy ang sinasabing nag-ayos ng pagkikita ng dalawa sa Hotel Rembrandt noong Miyerkules ng gabi, Pebrero 20.



Ayon kay Jobert, initially ay hindi naman kasama sa plano si Nadia. "Pero mas maganda raw, sabi ni Gretchen, kung nandoon [si Nadia]," ani Cristy.

At sa mismong pagkikita, nagkausap pa diumano sina Gretchen at Boy Asistio bago pa man magkaharap ang una at si Nadia. Dito diumano nag-open si Gretchen ng kanyang nararamdaman sa kanyang kaibigang si Nadia.



Lahad ni Cristy, "Naalala mo [Jobert] yung magkatabi kayo ni ex-Mayor Asistio, nandito naman si Mr. Dody, 'tapos si Raffy at saka si Gretchen? Yung dumukwang si Gretchen na ganun, kinuha yung kaliwang kamay ni Tito Boy? Cinematic yun para sa akin. Napakamarespeto ni Gretchen.



"Kinuha po niya, mga kaibigan, ilalarawan na lang po namin... Kinuha po ni Gretchen yung kaliwang kamay ni Tito Boy na kaliwa din po niyang kamay. 'Tapos hinawakan po niya nang mahigpit."



Matapos nito ay nagsalita si Gretchen at ikinuwento ang kanyang mga narinig tungkol sa totoong saloobin diumano ni Nadia sa kanya.



Patuloy ni Cristy, "Sabi niya [Gretchen], ‘Mayor, kaya ko rin pong tapatan ng masasakit na salita at accusations ang ginawa sa akin ni Nadia kaninang umaga sa mga text messages niya kay Ogie na tinawag niya akong ‘may pusong itim.' Mayor, iniisip ko lang po kayo, nirerespeto ko lang po kayo at ang mga anak ninyo na inaanak ko pa.'



"‘Mayor, ang sabi po niya kay Rufa Mae Quinto, kay P-chi, ang dahilan daw po ng galit niya sa akin ay kung bakit ko kayo mapalayas sa bahay ninyo. Kung natatandaan n'yo po, hindi pa kami magkakilala ni Tonyboy noong isanla ninyo ang bahay na iyan. Pero nang dumating ang pagkakataon na kailangan kayong paalisin, ginawa ko po ang lahat para ma-extend pa, magkaroon ng grace period yung pag-stay ninyo sa bahay.'



"Sabi niya [Gretchen], ‘Apat na taon ho kayong tumira doon. Ngayon nung dumating na po yung pang-apat na taon at kailangan nang kunin ng bangko yung bahay, I can only do so much.' Sabi niya [Gretchen], ‘Kayo po ang nagpabaya, hindi po ako. Ang kailangan 90 million [pesos]. Where do I get the 90 million? Wala naman akong pera.'



"‘Ngayon, despite that tumawag pa po ako kay Nadia the night before yung sheriff.' ‘Girl, kunin ninyo ang lahat ng kailangan ninyong gamit para kapag dumating na ang sheriff, nailabas n'yo na para kapag dumating na ang sheriff, kahit kutsara at tinidor, hindi n'yo na mailalabas pa.' Mayor, masama pa ba ako? Mayor, sagutin mo ako. Do I deseve this?'"



Habang nangyayari ang pag-uusap sa pagitan nina Gretchen at ex-Mayor Asisitio, kinakausap naman diumano ni Cristy si Nadia sa ibang kuwarto. At pagkatapos ay sumunod na doon sina Gretchen at Dody Puno.



Sa mga sumunod na kuwento ni Cristy, inilahad niya kung paano nagsimula ang diumano'y kumprontasyon sa pagitan nina Gretchen at Nadia.



"'Tapos nang umakyat na sila, medyo nagkaroon ng gulo. Ayon sa mga ilang nakausap namin noon sa Hotel Rembrandt na tumanggi nang magpakilala—kabilang na ang isang kilalang tao at ilang staff ng hotel—may ilang masasakit daw na salita ang nabitiwan sa pagitan nina Gretchen at Nadia. Nauwi raw ito sa batuhan ng baso. Hindi lang nila nakumpirma kung natamaan si Greta.



"Gretchen said something really nasty, Nadia did the same. After that, glasses came flying," kuwento ng isang source.



"Mabilis lang ang mga pangyayari. Ilang minuto lang ang itinagal. Nandun sa itaas si Dody [Puno] at saka si Boy [Asistio]. Binantaan pa ni Nadia na sisirain daw niya si Gretchen," dagdag naman ng isang nagkuwento na noo'y nasa labas daw ng kuwarto kung saan naganap ang kumprontasyon.

May version naman na nagsasabing tungkol sa pera ang pinag-awayan ng dalawa.



Kung anuman ang totoo, sina Gretchen at Nadia lang ang tunay na nakakaalam.



Pero sa column ni Ogie Diaz sa People's Journal ngayong araw, Pebrero 20, inilathala niya ang text message na ipinadala ni Nadia sa kanya. Halatang masama ang loob ni Nadia kay Gretchen.



Part of the text reads: "Puro front lang nakikita ninyo kay Gretchen. Diamonds, Jaguar, beautiful face, sexy, milyonarya, pero ang itim ng puso. Grade four pa lang kami puro pagpapasensiya na ang ginagawa ko diyan. Milyonarya rin ako pero pagkakaiba namin, milyon ang kaaway."



At press time, nananatili pa ring tahimik si Gretchen. Nakapatay naman ang cell phone ni Nadia.

GRETCHEN BARRETO'S ANOTHER KISSING SCENE

Pasok ngayon si Ricky Yabut. Nakarating sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ang balitang noong February 10, nakita sa upscale resto-bar na Nuvo, sa Greenbelt 2, Makati City, si Ricky Yabut at ang date nitong si Rachel Anne Wolfe. Ngunit nang gabi ring iyon, nakita si Ricky na “kahalikan" si Gretchen Barretto.

Si Ricky ay brother-in-law ni Tonyboy. Kapatid nito si Denise “Nise" Yabut, asawa ni Tonyboy, na hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa naghihiwalay legally kahit mahigit na 15 taon nang hindi nagsasama. Kaya nga’t brothers-in-law pa rin ang tingin ng lipunan kina Ricky at Tonyboy. Ricky is in his 40s, katamtamang height, is dark skinned, at guwapo.

Si Ricky ay kasal kay Cita Revilla, ang pinakabunso sa magagandang anak ng veteran actor na si Armando Goyena, na kinabibilangan ng Camay Girl na si Maritess Revilla-Araneta at ang actress/TV host na si Tina Revilla. May dalawa silang anak, sina Nikky at Chelsea, na parehong teenagers. Sinasabing “napakagood-looking couple" sina Ricky at Cita, at bagamat sila ay hiwalay ngayon, sila raw ay nananatiling magkaibigan.

Si Rachel Anne ay isang hip-hop, R&B, jazz, at pop singer. Naging artista siya panandalian at naging Bb. Pilipinas Ms. Young International. Anak siya ni Annie Brazil, ang tinaguriang Queen of Jazz dito sa Pilipinas, at half-sister siya ni Richard Merk, ang kinikilalang Prince of Jazz. Sa website ni Rachel Anne, sinasabing asawa niya si John Spitaletta, na siyang pinag-dedikeytan niya ng isang cut sa album niyang Cool.

Nuong gabi ng a-diyes ng Pebrero, nasa Nuvo rin si Gretchen. Magkakilala ang tatlo: si Gretchen at Ricky, dahil kamag-anak ni Tonyboy by marriage si Ricky; si Gretchen at Rachel Anne, dahil friends ang dalawa nung bata-bata pa ang dalawa.

ANG INSIDENTE. Ayon sa source ng PEP na naroon mismo sa resto-bar, may pagkakataong umalis muna ng ilang minuto sa table nila si Rachel Anne. Sa abot-tingin ng source-witness ay pumunta ito ng restroom, sapagkat kung nakipagkuwentuhan lang ito sa ibang guests ay natanaw niya dapat ito.

Nang mawala sa mesa si Rachel Anne, and in plain sight ng iba pang guests sa resto-bar, biglang lumapit si Gretchen kay Ricky at naglambing umano nang husto sa lalaki. Sabi ng source-witness: “She was touching his hands, his face." Dagdag pa nito: “She was practically nibbling at his ears!"

Ayon pa rin sa source-witness, hinalikan ng isang “looking drunk" na Gretchen si Ricky, na gumanti din daw ng halik. Hindi nga lang daw agresibo ang paghalik ni Ricky sa partner ng kanyang bayaw, kung ibabase sa body language nito.

Sinasabi ring nang gabing iyon, nasa Nuvo ang ilang socialites and their gay friends, na nakakakilala rin kay Ricky. May mga haka-hakang isa sa mga ito ang siyang nagsumbong ng mga pangyayari sa Nuvo kay Cita Revilla-Yabut. Ngunit kung wala mang nakapagsumbong sa mga ito, nakumpirma ng PEP na alam na rin ni Cita ang pangyayari. Ayon sa isang kaibigan ni Cita, ikinuwento raw ni Ricky mismo ang pangyayari sa asawa. AWAYAN SA KASIYAHAN. Noong February 17, sa birthday party ni Senator Jinggoy Estrada sa Blue Leaf Event’s Pavilion sa McKinley Road, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, naroon sina Gretchen at Tonyboy. Pareho silang pustoryoso. Bumata ang itsura ni Tonyboy; si Gretchen naman ay payat na payat pa rin.

Kinuyog agad sila ng press. Umiwas si Tonyboy sa mga tanong, pero si Gretchen ay masayang sagot nang sagot sa mga tanong. Ayon sa isang magazine reporter, iniwas ni Tonyboy si Gretchen palayo sa press nang papunta na ang mga tanong sa personal, na mukhang papunta na rin sa kuwentong Dody Puno. Nakuhan ito ng ABS-CBN camera.

Buong gabi, sabi ng mga reporters, kapansin-pansin ang pagte-table hopping ni Gretchen at ang pakikipagsayaw nito sa ibang guests at D.I.s na naroon. Di na raw halos ito bumalik sa mesa nila ni Tonyboy.

Paano naman, sabi ng ilang reporters, naroon sa table ni Tonyboy ang kapatid nitong si Choy Cojuangco at ilang Revilla sisters, kasama na rin si Cita Revilla-Yabut.

Nakikita sa mga katabing mesa ang pag-iyak ni Cita habang tila may ikunukuwento kay Tonyboy. Nang lumaon, dahil matagal at paulit-ulit ang pag-uusap nila, naulinigan na rin ng ilang naroroon na nagsusumbong diumano si Cita tungkol sa pangyayari ng Pebrero 10. Inirireklamo raw ni Cita ang ginawa ni Gretchen kay Ricky sa Nuvo.

Ang reaksyon ni Tonyboy, ayon sa mga sumusubaybay sa mga kaganapan sa mesa ng billionaire businessman, ay ang tuluy-tuloy na pag-apologize nito kay Cita habang panay ang lagok ng alak na hawak. At one point, sinundan pa raw ni Tonyboy si Cita habang umiiyak ang huli papuntang restroom, at patuloy pa rin daw itong humihingi ng dispensa. Nakita rin ito ng ilang bisita at press na naroroon.

KC CONCEPCION IN MAALALA MO KAYA

Being the daughter of Sharon Cuneta and one of the daughters of Gabby Concepcion, KC Concepcion has all the makings of becoming a mega star herself.

Showbiz royalty KC Concepcion became emotional and shed tears as she shared the experience of acting for her very first television drama project with ABS-CBN’s “Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK).”

“Naiiyak nga po ako kasi parang hindi ko alam na naging dream come true pala siya na ito ang kinalakihan ko. Hindi ko na experience ang fulfillment na ito that came to reality until now,” KC told members of the entertainment media.

“I'm very, very happy to be here for another reason. So, excited about this experience, about this offering, this project. It took me 22 years to get here to be speaking to you about this TV debut, this acting project, this acting experience,” she added.

KC, Maria Kristina Cassandra Concepcion in real life, is the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion.

Cuneta, who is now married to Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, has previously said that she did not want KC to join local showbiz.

KC said that she really enjoyed her acting debut and felt overwhelmed doing it with her very own Kapamilya network. She credited her mom for exposing her early to the entertainment business.


Of course my inspiration for this is really my mom because dinadala niya ako sa set nong bata pa ako at doon ako gumagawa ng homework ko at doon kami nagba-bonding together. The MMK special sees KC play the role of Darlene, a young lady who lives a comfortable life until a tragedy leaves her family without a father. From a rich and sheltered party-girl, Darlene becomes her family’s breadwinner.

Concepcion will be joined by multi-talented actor Ricky Davao, model and actor Derek Ramsay and singer actress Agot Isidro. The show is directed by Jerry Sineneng.

LINO CAYETANO DID NOT DIRECT KC CONCEPCION IN MAALALA MO KAYA

Many may have thought that Lino Cayetano, being a director could have megged KC Concepcion in Maalala Mo Kaya. They're mistaken. Lino is now on a vacation in Norway.

Una naming nalaman na nasa Norway ngayon ang ex-boyfriend ni KC Concepcion na si Lino Cayetano mula sa mentor at nanay-nanayan ni Direk Lino sa showbiz na si Mel del Rosario. Si Mel ang headwriter ng Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK), ang drama anthology ng ABS-CBN.



Si Mel din ang naging daan para maging bahagi ng Maalaala Mo Kaya production team si Lino. And this time, sina Mel at KC naman ang nagkatrabaho para sa episode ng MMK na ipalalabas ngayong Biyernes, Pebrero 15.



Ayon kay Mel, in-insist daw talaga nila na hindi si Lino ang magdirek ng first episode ni KC sa Maalaala Mo Kaya. Tiyak daw kasi na hindi ang show at talent ni KC sa pag-arte ang pag-uusapan kundi ang relasyon nila ni Lino at posibleng kung anu-ano pa raw ang maungkat.

This is regarding the rumor that Martin Nievera sang for a special someone during his concert in February 1 to celebrate his anniversaary in show business.

The special someone was not his live-in compaion Katrina Ojeda who was in the United States at that time,

The woman is said to be the step daughter of the Prince Jefri Bolkiah of Brunei and a Filipina who's now married to a singer Franco Laurel.



Prince Jefri, 53, is the youngest brother of the 29th Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah. According to the Associated Press, Jefri has "four wives, 17 children and 18 adopted wards." He was also once married to Filipina Ayen Munji, who is now married to fellow singer and stage actor Franco Laurel.

Martin, for his part, has been seen picking up Angie's kids from school, eating with them, as well as swimming with them.

CAREER BUMPS. This is not the first time that Martin, who has always dreamed of becoming known as a singer internationally, will do shows in Las Vegas. The country's Concert King did leave the Philippines in 2003 to try his luck on the American concert scene. Since then, according to his official website, he has performed at the Golden Nugget/Las Vegas (2004) and at the Rio Hotel and Casino (2005).



But in May of 2007, his career hit a major snafu. Martin was set to stage a big show at the Steve Wyrick Theater at the Miracle Mile mall, also in Las Vegas. It was to be produced by California-based Filipino producer Gene Gamalinda.



According to someone who knows the producer, ticket sales proved very weak, and the producer pulled out of "a losing venture." In other words, he wanted to cut his losses. But according to published reports, Martin says his producer "abandoned" him.



On May 4, 2007, a Philippine daily put out an article titled "Martin Nievera struggles in Las Vegas show." The article was sympathetic to the singer: "The singer was bold enough to take everything on his shoulders—even if it would break his back—just to pursue his dream, the source added.



"To keep things going, Martin handles other production chores, even manually carrying sets, equipment and musical instruments off the theater stage to make way for the next set of performers, the source added."



The same article mentioned that Martin and Katrina took over the production. Martin admitted that he was forced to sell his cars and his watches to be able to pay his backup band and production crew.



According to reports, Martin is yet to recover from that financial setback—and is presently down and out.



Now comes talk that Martin is hesitant about returning to Vegas, and the reason is supposed to be because he wants to spend time with his new love in Manila. Meantime, Katrina, who is known to be impatient and feisty where Pops was patient and submissive, is said to be hopping mad. She has reportedly threatened to go on television to expose Martin if he does not return to Vegas fast.

"Ah, gusto ko lang pong sabihin, eight years ago hinayaan na lang po namin ni Dingdong, nagparaya nga po kami. Kumbaga, nilunok na lang po namin yung accusations sa amin ng mga tao na nanloko kami, niloko namin si Rufa Mae.



"In fact, noong lumabas po siya noon sa The Buzz, sa The Buzz po nagsimula ‘yan, e, noong umiyak-iyak siya. Hindi po namin ito nasabi noon na nag-text siya, tumawag siya kay Dingdong at sinabi niya na humanda kayo, panoorin ninyo ako't abangan ninyo ang mga sasabihin ko.



"Nagwagi po siya sa mga intrigang yun. Gusto ko po sabihin na wala po kaming ginagawang...hinding-hindi po namin siya niloko and excuse me po hindi ko siya best friend."



Sa sinasabing tell-all interview ay binanggit kasi ng sexy comedienne na dati silang mag-best friend ni Jessa.



"Nagkasama lang kami sa pelikula sa Viva pero after that hindi po ganoon ka-close ang aming relasyon katulad ng sinasabi niya. Ang hirap kasi dito, lalo na sa article niya sa YES! magazine, maglalabas siya ng katotohanan tapos susundot ng kasinungalingan.



"Ang totoo po, tumawag ‘yan. Tumawag po talaga ‘yan sa akin dati. Pero ganito po yun, ang sinabi niya sa akin, ‘Jessa, alam ko nililigawan ka ni Dingdong. Alam ko gusto ka ni Dingdong. Nakikiusap ako sa ‘yo pwede ba saktan mo si Dingdong, bastedin mo kasi nahuli niya ako, e. Gusto ko lang makaganti.'



"Ang feeling ko po doon, 'bakit ko naman susundin?' Sino ka ba para sundin kita? At feeling ko, bakit ko naman susundin yung masamang intensiyon ng taong ito sa taong may magandang intensiyon sa akin. Well, I don't owe an explanation to anybody lalo na sa kanya kung mahalin ko man o tanggapin si Dingdong."



Sa gitna ng isyung ito, mas pinili raw ni Dingdong ang manahimik, "Kasi 'di ba lalaki siya? Kapag sumagot siya, napaka-ungentleman ng dating katulad ng nangyari before. Pero magsasalita rin si Dingdong sa tamang panahon."



Pagkatapos nito ay nagbigay ng mensahe si Jessa mga manonood at kay Rufa Mae.



"Uhm, ang mensahe ko, ako po, nasa Amerika na ako. Kami ni Dingdong nananahimik dito. Puro trabaho na ang inaatupag namin. Walang isyu. Ito hindi ko kailangan ang isyu na ito. Nagsasalita lang po ako dahil para sa pamilya ko at para sa kapakanan ng anak ko. Dahil karapatan ng anak ko na malaman ang katotohanan lalo na kapag lumaki siya at karapatan din ng buong mundo na malaman kung ano ang totoo."


At para naman kay Rufa Mae: "Nalulungkot ako para sa ‘yo. Dahil ngayon hilung-hilo ka sa katanyagan mo. Akala mo na you can get away with anything. May katapusan ‘yan. ‘Yang kasikatan mo, ‘yang katanyagan mo, kayamanan mo, hindi mo madadala sa hukay. Nalulungkot ako para sa 'yo dahil ang integridad at katotohanan, wala ka noon," pagtatapos ni Jessa.

GRETCHEN BARRETO BACK TO TONYBOY COJUANGCO'S ARMS

So back to normal again? No more demand for marriage. No more flings to hurt Tonyboy Cojuangco. After all, he loves her unconditionally. That's what she said.

And Dolly Carvajal after writing that it's all about publicity, hinted that it really happened but La Greta is on top of the situation all the time.

MANILA, Philippines - By now, stories about Gretchen Barretto’s latest “misadventure” must be coming out of your ears. Way before it hit the headlines, I had written about Greta’s trysts with businessman Dodie Puno.

Knowing Greta, she’s enjoying all the attention. I remember when I got embroiled in a controversy, Greta told me in jest (?), “Girl, you’re stealing the thunder from me.”

She’s one woman who resents being ignored. And certainly that’s not what her longtime partner Tonyboy Cojuangco will ever do. He loves her too much.

“She never left Dasma. Never siya pinaalis ni Tonyboy and never siya aalis,” said Greta’s bosom friend. “Whatever she had with Dodie, I don’t know where it started. The important thing is after all is said and done, she’s with Tonyboy pa rin. In fact, they are celebrating their anniversary soon.”

Greta knows how to charm her way into Tonyboy’s heart after her foolish exploits and temporary thrills. As a director puts it, “What a comfort zone Greta has! I want to drink what she’s taking!”

Many more John Estradas and Dodie Punos may come in and out of Greta’s colorful life but Tonyboy Cojuangco will remain. If he always manages to forgive her, why can’t we?

DODY OR DODIE PUNO, WHO IS HE?

Many people asked, who is Dodie or Dody Puno.

This news from GMA7 gives the profile of the man who was rumored to have offered Gretchen Barreto that Tonyboy could not give her--marriage.

But the reason, says this friend, that Gretchen’s dalliance with Dody took a serious turn, where the one with John did not, is because Dody offered marriage. And while Tonyboy is on a league of his own money-wise, Dody comes from an influential family with means. Dody is the brother of Atty. Ricardo “Dong" Puno of ABS-CBN’s News & Current Affairs, Atty. Reggie Puno of ABS-CBN’s legal office, and Secretary Ronaldo “Ronnie" Puno of the Department of Interior and Local Government, putting the family within President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s powerful circle.

However, Dody’s offer of marriage does not surprise his friends, according to a showbiz insider. In his words, “Style niya talaga yun. Marami na siyang napangakuan ng kasal dati."

As far as everyone knows, the fellow is single. He is known to say that his marriage to Baby Pijuan, the sister of former Miss International Aurora Pijuan, was annulled when he was 35 years old. (He is now 58.) Baby and Dody have three grown-up children, one of whom manages Alchemy, the club Dody owns.

After he separated from Baby, reports say, he lived with Vicky Garcia, a commercial model and beauty queen in the ‘80s. He had two children with her. He is said to have offered marriage to Vicky, who is herself well-off.

But in the mid-‘80s, before Dody could marry Vicky, he fell for beauty queen and actress Alma Concepcion. They have one child. He also offered Alma marriage. But up to the time Alma split from Dody, there was no trip to the altar. Still, the two remain friends, and were last seen together publicly in last year’s birthday party for their seven-year-old son.

Since then, there have been rumors of liaisons with showbiz stars, including Ara Mina. But also within the last seven years, says a showbiz editor who knows Dody, he has been with a non-showbiz girlfriend. Whether he offered marriage to her or not is not known. What is known is that while he was with the girl, he fell for Gretchen—and offered Gretchen marriage.
