He was one of the many children of ex-Senator and actor Ramon Revilla Sr. and a half brother of Senator Bong Revilla. Ram Revilla was the son of Genelyn Magsaysay but was very close to his half-siblings. He was killed in his home in Paranaque City by still unidentified assailant.

MANILA, Philippines - Ram Bautista Revilla, a budding actor and the half-brother of Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., was killed in his home in Parañaque City before midnight on Friday.
This was confirmed by the senator himself in an interview with dzMM.
According to Revilla, his brother was stabbed and shot to death. This was corroborated by Police Officer 2 Francisco Bukid, the first to arrive at the crime scene, in a separate interview with the same radio station.
“Maraming saksak sa likod at ulo, iba’t-ibang parte ng katawan at saka sabi may isa daw tama ng bala,” said Bukid.
Police recovered an empty shell of .45 calibre gun from the crime scene.
