KRIS AQUINO FELT DISCARDED
Kris Aquino was expecting the exclusive of the interview with Mar Roxas and Korina Sanchez in the SNN, the latter being her friend. Besides, she was also promised.
She cried feeling that she was taken for granted.
Here is the story:
THE BATTLE for scoops and exclusive reports on TV has claimed a humiliated victim: Kris Aquino.
“I felt we were used and then discarded,” the TV host said after Sen. Mar Roxas and long-time girlfriend Korina Sanchez announced their wedding plans on ABS-CBN’s noontime show “Wowowee”—and not on any of her programs aired by the same network.
“They promised to give us details of the engagement and the sit-down interview,” said Kris, who shares co-hosting chores with Boy Abunda on the gossip-oriented programs “The Buzz” and “Showbiz News Ngayon.” She also hosts the game show “Pinoy Bingo Nights.”
“I thought I would be able to deliver it for Boy,” added Kris, “but I failed. Napahiya ako.”
What are your thoughts on the issue?
It’s not a secret that Boy supports Manny Villar. I told Boy, “Come election time you can choose who you want to support, but can you do this with me for now?”
Inalagaan namin ito sa ‘SNN.’ I said, “Let’s protect the exclusive. Let’s give them this concession.” Our staff worked on several stories for weeks, kasi nga we were building it up for the exclusive announcement. We were supposed to break the news (two weeks ago), kaya lang nangyari nga yung kay Ted (Failon).
I know it wasn’t (Mar and Korina’s) fault. Nag-so-sorry sila. Yesterday, Korina sent six flower arrangements. Mar sent a really long text message. His mom is my ninang. For the entire time my dad was in jail, bawat “Holiday On Ice” or “Disney” show, front row seats ako sa Araneta Coliseum kasi naawa sa akin si Ninang Judy. It really goes that far back. So parang napahiya ako kasi I said: “He (Mar) is my kinakapatid.”
Mother of Judy Ann Santos cried on her wedding
The father of Judy Ann Santos came and her mother cried during the wedding.
The mother of young superstar Judy Ann Santos said Tuesday she cried when her youngest daughter and actor Ryan Agoncillo exchanged “I dos” in San Juan, Batangas.
“Crying galore. I always cry at weddings kapag nag-aanak ako ng kasal. What more kung bunso ko?” Carol, popularly called Mommy Carol, said in an interview on radio dzMM.
Mommy Carol said she was touched by Agoncillo's gesture when the groom embraced and thanked her for giving her blessings to the union.
“Ryan hugged me and said: 'Thanks for giving me Judai.' Talagang nakakatuwa,” she said.
Very solemn
Mommy Carol described the wedding at San Juan Nepomuceno Church as very solemn, non-traditional and very simple - just like Judai wanted it.
"Whenever she saw a showbiz wedding [Judai] would say: 'I don't want that.' Her dream wedding really came true," she said.
Instead of a wedding packed with guests and papparazi, the couple decided to invite a few close friends and relatives to the ceremony. Santos’ father also arrived from Los Angeles to attend the wedding.
The ceremony was also a non-traditional affair. Instead of the usual processional, only Judai, her matron of honor Megastar Sharon Cuneta, and adopted daughter Johanna Lois or Yohan, walked down the aisle.
The private ceremony, which was closed to the media, started at around 7 a.m. and was finished in less than an hour. “There was a Mass at 8 a.m. so the wedding was a bit rushed. Even the photo-op was rushed. We finished at a quarter to 8,” Mommy Carol said.
She said the song “The Prayer” was specifically requested by her daughter. It was sung by Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid during the offertory.
She said Cuneta and husband Sen. Francis Pangilinan had to leave after the breakfast reception to celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary Tuesday.
White wedding
Other details of the wedding stood out for its simplicity and elegance.
The wedding invitation was placed inside a box, which had one white flip-flop. The invitation read: "Eto na 'to. Inuman na. Punta kang nakaputi (This is it. It's drinking time. Come in white)." There was no date on the invitation.
Ramon Isberto, one of the principal sponsors, said the wedding's white motif gave the ceremony a "nice, fresh, happy effect."
He said the guests, including the sponsors, were just told to wear white, and many of them did not wear the usual formal wedding clothes. Some of the guests even wore white shorts and white rubber slippers.
"The whole wedding was casual and the attire had something to do with it," he said. "Maganda tingnan, malinis....Hindi masagwa tingnan because of the all-white effect."
As a result of the happy and light mood, he said "everyone clapped when Judai arrived."
Isberto, a mentor-friend of Agoncillo's, said there were no powerful and wealthy sponsors even if the couple could have had as many as they wanted.
"Walang sikat na sponsor. We're just people who they can easily turn to for advice," he said.
Aside from Isberto, the couple's principal sponsors include ace photographer Bien Bautista, Ryan's uncle Benjie Gonzales, TV host Susie Entrata-Abrera, director Rory Quintos, and Jane Buencamino, Judy Ann's road manager.
In his sermon, Fr. Tito Caluag, the couple's spiritual adviser, said Santos and Agoncillo have been through a lot in their relationship, which is why he is confident they will be able to handle their marriage.
'We thought it was Korina's wedding'
The wedding took many people by surprise including some of the guests. Earlier news reports said the wedding was scheduled on May 2.
A source who works in San Juan Nepomuceno Church said the staff knew that there was going to be a high profile wedding but the parish priest did not tell them who was getting married.
He said he knew that it was a celebrity wedding when the crew arrived Monday night for the sound system and lights but the identities of the couple remained a mystery.
"It was very mysterious. We thought it was Korina," he said, referring to ABS-CBN broadcaster Korina Sanchez who recently announced her engagement to Sen. Manuel Roxas.
Mom’s wish
Mommy Carol said her only wish for her daughter and Agoncillo is for their marriage to last forever.
"I don't want it to be too showbiz where you marry today and separate tomorrow. It took [Judai] so long to really find somebody na magugustuhan niya. Deserved naman niya maging happy,” she said.
“For the longest time, walang ginawa yan kundi [magtrabaho para] sa aming family… So, ngayon sabi ko nga sa kanya start your own family. Dapat forever silang magsama.”

Father of Judy Ann Santos came for the wedding
I know nothing about the father of Judy Ann Santos. She invited her despite the fact that he left them when she was still young.
Here is the story:
Judy Ann Santos’ wedding to Ryan Agoncillo has reunited the young actress with her father after years of not seeing each other.
Her father, Manuel, flew to the Philippines to be with her daughter in her special day. Manuel is now living in the United States with his second family.
Her mother, Carol, and siblings Jackie and Jeffrey were also present in the event.
Santos’ parents had separated when the actress was still young. A Wikipedia entry on the actress said her mother, Carol, had single-handedly raised the young actress and her two siblings by working as a caregiver in Toronto, Canada.
In the wedding footage, an emotional Santos tightly embraced her father, who was waiting at the altar, before turning to her groom.
As Santos walked down the aisle, Noel Ferrer, Agoncillo’s talent manager, shared that almost everyone present at San Juan Nepomuceno Church in San Juan, Batangas were crying.
Ferrer, who helped in the preparations, said Santos was the one crying the most because she achieved her dream wedding, which was an event to be attended by family and close friends only and away from the public’s eyes.
The newlyweds took everyone by surprise when they got married in the morning of April 28.
Agoncillo proposed marriage to Santos on her 30th birthday last year. They revealed the engagement a month later.
The couple had been mum about the actual date of their wedding with some news reports have said that the wedding was supposedly scheduled on May 2
JUDY ANN SANTOS ANS RYAN AGONCILLO' S WEDDING ACCOUNT
I like to keep this here for the fans before it is buried in the newspapers archive.
MABINI, Batangas, Philippines — From my vantage point, three tables away from where they were, a lovely scene was what I saw. He peeled a prawn for her while she put beef Thai curry on his plate. From time to time, they would whisper to each other then burst into guffaws. In between bites, he planted a kiss or two on her cheek. She would reply by caressing his face. Such love existed between Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos at the very romantic sunset wedding dinner reception on April 28 at Balai Anilao, a cozy resort in this town.
“Thank you for being part of this treasure hunt. You really have to be here,” Ryan told the more than 200 guests, referring to how everybody tried to keep the details of their wedding under wraps.
Earlier that day, there were only more than 80 of us who witnessed their 7 a.m. exchange of vows at the San Juan Nepomuceno church in the town of San Juan, three hours away from Balai Anilao by either boat or car.
“This is such a perfect moment. This is exactly how I envisioned it to be. Thank you,” Juday said, profusely punctuating her speech that night with gratitude.
Taking turns in hosting the dinner program were Juday’s best friend and Ploning director Dante Nico Garcia, KC Concepcion, Tuesday Vargas and Agot Isidro-Sandejas (who sang Runaway when Juday walked down the aisle in the church). Entertainment was provided by the APO Hiking Society and Session Road band. The party ended way past midnight.
When APO’s Buboy Garovillo, Jim Paredes and Danny Javier sang Panalangin, the couple stood up and did their first dance. How they tenderly held each other as they danced sent many guests crying. Again.
In the church wedding earlier, everybody cried, too, when Juday melted in Ryan’s arms as they met by the altar. At the end of the wedding rites that lasted for 45 minutes, Ryan kissed his wife for 17 seconds, ending it with a 31-second of tender embrace.
The air of elegance at the dinner reception was all the more heightened when the Chiang Mai white lanterns, about 20 of them, floating in the sea were lighted and flew in mid-air. The lanterns gyrated towards the horizon, illuminating the darkness of the night.
The sumptuous dinner of roasted calf, Vietnamese spring rolls, Thai beef curry, inihaw na liempo, chapchae, sushi and sashimi among other Asian delights was catered by Gene Gonzalez of Café Ysabel. Gonzalez was Juday’s culinary instructor when she took up culinary arts a few years ago.
Café Ysabel also catered the primero — a quick-bite spread composed of pandesal, kesong puti, churros and tsokolate-e among others — that we took around 5 a.m. of April 28 before we headed to the church for the matrimonial ceremony.
The night before the wedding, Juday and Ryan’s closest friends and family of more than 80 people were housed in three simple yet cozy resorts that are adjacent to each other in Brgy. Hugom in San Juan — Balai-Laiya Resort, Taramindo Resort and Tivona Resort.
My best friend and Cinema Evaluation Board chairman Christine Dayrit and I were given Sampaloc Room No. 9 at the Balai-Laiya. It was a cozy but comfortable thatch-roofed cottage with bamboo slat flooring. Below our room was where Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez stayed. They later sang The Prayer at the wedding.
Across our room, at Sampaloc Room No. 3, were Juday and Yohan, her four-year-old “mini me.” Above their room was where Susie Entrata and husband Paolo Abrera spent the night. Ryan and his friends who flew in from the States stayed in a three-floored cottage just a few meters away from where Juday was. Some guests opted to stay in tents by the beachside.
Film and TV director Joyce Bernal was in charge of the rooming assignments of the guests. Names of the guests were handwritten on a one-fourth-sized yellow paper, then taped outside the rooms.
Guests left the resorts at 5 a.m. for the supposedly 6:30 a.m. ceremony. As early as 2 a.m., sought-after makeup artist Juan Sarte was already putting makeup on Juday as Jing Monis styled her hair. Sharon Cuneta was exchanging early morning laughter with Juday while the latter was being dolled up. Ryan did his own grooming.
After the simple and heart-warming church wedding, Gonzalez and his team prepared a brunch reception composed of Pinoy specialties like tapa, tocino, longaniza, daing na bangus and danggit at the Balai-Laiya Resort. Guests were seated on four long rectangular and five tables covered with Indian fabric table cloths and accentuated with Robert Blancaflor’s masterful flower arrangements of white roses, cabbage-like cacti, phaleanopsis orchids and dwarf ferns. As we ate brunch, we were serenaded by Ed and Tina Pasamba’s sextet.
All of us were given two hours to freshen up before we headed to the sunset dinner reception at Balai-Anilao. To get to the dinner reception, guests had to be ferried for three hours to Anilao by three big motorized bancas.
Ryan and Juday changed outfits before they took the banca ride. So did most of their guests. White polo and pants for Ryan’s boat wear and a mini baby lace off-white dress for Juday.
At Balai-Anilao, the couple and their more than 80 guests were met by about 150 more VIPs who were just asked to attend the sunset dinner reception. This included ABS-CBN’s Charo Santos and Cory Vidanes and TAPE’s Tony Tuviera who all gave a short speech of congratulations to the couple.
But before they entertained their guests, the couple and their daughter Yohan changed their outfits again for the third time. This time, Juday was wearing an empire-cut tube dress whose very delicate Swiss lace fabric was sourced by Paul Cabral in Paris. Ryan was wearing a white shirt under a gray vest and pants, designed by Jerome Lorico, whom the groom met while he was hosting the show Talentadong Pinoy. Yohan was in a white eyelet dress. The three all came wearing white Arizona-styled Birkenstock slippers. Cabral and Lorico respectively designed the off-white wedding gown and gray suit of Juday and Ryan and all their change of clothes.
Those who opted to ride the car going to the sunset dinner had to take 100 steps going down the beachside dinner reception area in Balai-Anilao. The three-tiered wedding carrot walnut cake at the reception was masterfully done by Penk Ching of Pastry Bin. The cake had “edible photographs” of Ryan and Juday kissing as its design. Those pictures in silhouette were reproduction of the actual shots of the couple during their many travels around the world.
Security was so tight that even guests were not allowed to bring in their cameras and cellphones inside the church or at the reception areas. Official photographers of the wedding were photography masters Patrick Uy and Raymund Isaac.
“The couple invited only the closest of their friends and family because they wanted to keep it simple,” said Noel Ferrer, manager of Ryan. The invite, which came in a rectangular native brown box read: “Eto na ‘to. Inuman na! Punta kang nakaputi. Sikreto lamang natin ‘to ah.” Most guests got their invites four days before the wedding via mail. The invite also came with the left pair of slipper. The other pair was claimed at the dinner reception. The slippers became the “official” footwear of the guests at the wedding dinner.
Juday’s and Ryan’s names were not mentioned in the invite. Many, however, were able to figure out whose wedding it was when they called the R.S.V.P. number of Rita Neri, the country’s premier wedding coordinator. Neri’s office confirmed it was indeed the wedding of Ryan and Juday and they never gave further information.
A sense of adventure was definitely an intrinsic ingredient of the wedding and only those who were truly close to the couple would understand the reason behind the thrill and suspense.
A month before the wedding, Ryan and Juday sent text messages to their invited guests for their complete names, home addresses and the sizes of their feet. Many guessed that a wedding invitation would follow after they sent them back the information needed. But the couple kept mum about it.
“Juday and I just want to surprise you,” Ryan told me when I asked him why he was asking those details from me almost a month ago. The couple prepared for their wedding only for two months.
Even us who were present on the eve of their wedding were still guessing on the activities that would take place in the wedding. The couple and their suppliers were simply quiet about them. Till the end, everything was a surprise for the guests.
“As we said, we still want to surprise you,” Juday said. So their guests simply went with the flow and they were happily surprised as one beautiful event took place after the other.
The couple’s love affair blossomed four years ago at the set of Krystala, a fantaserye topbilled by Juday. Ryan was one of her leading men in that TV show. When their feelings for each other bloomed, the Balai-Anilao resort became their rendezvous.
They were engaged on May 11, 2008, the day Juday turned 30, at Antulang in Dumaguete. Ryan turned 30 last April 10.
The morning after their wedding, the couple told me on the phone, they woke up “happy and hungry.”
“We’re still feeling very high!” Ryan told me, adding that they just woke up. That was already 11:45 a.m. They spent the night at a vacation house which was just beside Balai Anilao, the resort that served as their rendezvous when their affair started to bloom. They will leave Batangas today to get ready for their May 2 reception at Le Soufflé in Rockwell. Juday told me they will live in the house they built in a village in Alabang in two weeks.
“By the way, we plan to have a kid soon,” Ryan told me in between giggles. “And there’s a reception on May 2 and I plan to get her pregnant by then.”

Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes Breaking Up?
Publicity of the love team of Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes is still hot even in their supposed "break-up". So much ado about nothing.
Dingdong Dantes has mixed emotions about the “breaking up” of his love team with Marian Rivera after “Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang.”
Dong says, “We both saw it coming even after ‘Marimar.’ But then we were still privileged to go on with two more shows. Our tandem has changed our lives and the lives of some people in many inspiring ways. It will truly be missed. But on the brighter side, our ‘reunion’ will be something to look forward to.”
How will it affect their personal relationship?
“I got so used to working with Marian three times a week. Nevertheless, I am confident that with our bonding, we will still enjoy each other’s company off screen.”
Only their show and not their relationship is subject to change until further notice.

Bb Gandang hari denied entry in a bar
Bb Gandanghari, the former hunk husband of Carmina Villaroel was fuming mad when he was not allowed in Aruba bar because of the cross-dressing policy.
Here is the news:
After all, marami pang bar sa Metro Manila.

MARIAN RIVERA IS THE NEW DARNA
It is just like bridal showers where one expects to have it but feigned to be surprised. Entertainment writers have been insinuating that Marian Rivera wanted to be Darna and lobbied for it. Now she is surprised?

Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo to wed in May 2
This is not confirmed yet but according to Ricky Lo, the wedding of Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo is in May 2.
Is she for real? Who are the stupid people to rally behind her. Annabelle Rama must not have suffessfully encouraged anyone to join her rally against Wilma Galvante?
THE RALLY.
Second Autopsy Points Suicide in the Case of the wife Ted Failon
MANILA, Philippines—A forensic expert from the University of the Philippines who conducted a second autopsy on the body of broadcaster Ted Failon’s wife Tuesday said the gunshot wound on her head indicated a suicide.
Dr. Raquel Fortun told reporters at the Arlington Memorial Chapel in Quezon City that traces of soot on Trinidad “Trina” Etong’s scalp and inside the wound showed that it was a contact wound.
Etong was found shot in the head at the family home in Tierra Pura Subdivision in Quezon City on April 15; she died late on April 16 at the New Era General Hospital.
“The manner of death is the issue,” Fortun said. “It is a self-inflicted and intentional injury. Everything would be consistent with a suicide.”
But a ranking official of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said the direction of its inquiry into Etong’s death was “leaning toward parricide” before the case was transferred to the National Bureau of Investigation.
The source, who asked not to be named for lack of authority to discuss the case with reporters, cited the bullet’s trajectory and the purported discrepancies in the statements of Failon (Mario Failon Etong in real life) and housemaid Carlota Morbos on the discovery of Etong in a bathroom.
“Right to left trajectory, and the direction is downward,” the source said. “The exit wound is at least 2 centimeters lower than the entry wound.”
BIG RALLY BEING ORGANIZED BY ANNABELLE RAMA TO OUST WILMA GALVANTE
BIG RALLY AGAINST WILMA.
Kasi 'yang Wilma Galvante na 'yan, she's using her power, overusing her power as executive entertainment sa GMA.
Mabait akong Bisaya. Nirerespeto ko siya. Kaya binabastos niya ako, wala siyang respeto sa akin, I don't have to respect her. Masyado siyang mabastos.

PEPster Culture explained
Comments may be more than the unique hits from one IP because the readers may choose to leave remarks in more than one article.
Here is the explanation of PEP.
PEPster CULTURE. Hot on the trail of the "suspicious" numbers, the C & D Letter says it is "suspicious" that a Richard article gathers more comments from PEPsters than a Most Viewed Article.
The insinuation is that there are no real PEPsters, and that it is just the PEP staff of 10 that must be rigging, fabricating, inventing, and posting the hundreds of comments!
The short answer is, again: Absolutely untrue!
Another answer is: PEP's Most Viewed Articles do not necessarily generate the Most Number of Comments. The PEPsters alone decide if they want to comment under an article, limit themselves to just reading the article, or even ignore an article altogether. This is entirely their call.
PEP does not control the ideas, insights, and opinions of its 32,841 registered members (as of April 18, 2009), whose I.P. (Internet Protocol) Addresses indicate their various locations in the world.
Note: Google Analytics puts PEP's unique users—that is, a count of each individual logging on to PEP—at 1.1 million; the 32,841 are those who went on to register in order to be able to interact with the site—that is, post comments, gain access to the site's other features, and so on.
The response of PEP to the Cease and Desist Order of the Gutierrez' Lawyer
This is a portion of her response.
The C & D Letter asks for something really grave—and impossible to give. It asks that we stop any coverage of Richard Gutierrez and shut down all comments about Richard by PEP users, a.k.a. the PEPsters.
The C & D Letter demands that "PEP's publisher Summit Media, its editorial staff headed by Jo-Ann Maglipon and Karen Pagsolingan, and its writers to immediately, upon receipt of this letter, CEASE AND DESIST from publishing any further articles and/or comments about Richard Gutierrez."
There is no other way to say it.
This is an affront to a free press.
It is cavalier about free speech.
It totally misrepresents the nature of public figures.
And it is dismissive of the public's right to know.
(Incidentally, in the interest of fact and accuracy, the Letter's authors should note that PEP is not owned by Summit Media but by PEP Inc. A more complete research will show that these are two distinct entities.)
We received the C & D Letter on April 14, 2009. Today, we are still printing articles and comments on Richard Gutierrez, as they come. Tomorrow, we will still be doing the same thing.
Let us not forget who we are talking about here. This is Richard Gutierrez, a movie star who, in the words of his mother and talent manager Annabelle Rama, is "the No. 1 na artista" in the land. [Click related story here.] The 25-year-old Richard is, therefore, by every measure a public figure. And PEP—being a site that carries reports, opinions, features, blogs, videos, podcasts, and photographs of and about public figures—will continue to do its job of reporting on Richard Gutierrez, for as long as the public is interested in him.
In brief, no one shall storm what the Constitution protects.
Cease and Desist Order for PEP by the lawyer of Gutierrez Family
ATTN: Ms. Jo-Ann Q. Maglipon, Editor-in-Chief
RE : Articles and Comments about Richard Gutierrez
Our client, ANNABELLE RAMA-GUTIERREZ, the mother and talent manager of actor Richard Gutierrez, has referred to us for appropriate action the Philippine Entertainment Portal's ("PEP") continuing grossly negligent act of uploading a barrage of negative comments about her son. The relevant factual circumstances are detailed below.
At 7:12 p.m. of 13 April 2009, PEP uploaded an article by Mr. Jojo Gabinete with the heading "Richard Gutierrez files P25-million libel case against PEP." Less than twenty-four (24) hours after the uploading, or as of 2:14 p.m. today, six hundred eight (608) alleged "comments" were posted, most of which are negative and insulting, and practically all of them from persons hiding behind aliases and nicknames, which appear to be untraceable.
Our client and her family view with suspicion these alleged "comments" and the source and writers thereof. It seems highly unlikely that in a span of less than 24 hours, 608 comments from anonymous sources have already been posted.
As a simple exercise, we visited your website, and recorded the number of comments for the articles labeled as "HOT", and those labeled "THIS WEEK'S MOST POPULAR", as of 2:41 p.m. today. We found it interesting and informative that of the "HOT" articles, the Richard Gutierrez received 367 comments more than the 241 comments for the Joshua Formentera piece; more than 100% more comments. Further, of your list of the ten (10) most popular articles for the week, only the AGB Mega Manila article had more comments than the Richard Gutierrez article, with 1120 comments. However, the AGB Mega Manila article was uploaded on April 7, one week ago, and this explains the volume of comments.
Based on your own website articles, we find it unusual that an article uploaded less than 24 hours ago would have significantly more comments than all the other "HOT" items, and exceeded in that short period the number of comments for 9 out of the 10 most popular articles for the week.
Attached and made an integral part hereof as Annex "A" is the breakdown of the number of comments for each of the four (4) "HOT" articles, and each of the ten (10) "THIS WEEK'S MOST POPULAR" articles, as of 2:41 p.m. today.
Given the above figures, our client and her family are understandably skeptical of the source and authenticity of these supposed viewer "comments".
To avoid any further dispute on this particular issue, and to eliminate additional controversy, our client is now asking that PEP cease and desist from uploading or publishing article about her son and talent, Richard Gutierrez, until all illegal [sic] suits have been resolved. Our client is asking that PEP take the necessary steps to ensure that no further damage and injury is suffered by her entire family as a result of the unlawful uploading of the 29 March 2009 article that spawned this dispute.
FINAL DEMAND is therefore made on PEP's publisher Summit Media, its editorial staff headed by Jo-Ann Maglipon and Karen Pagsolingan, and its writers to immediately, upon receipt of this letter, CEASE AND DESIST from publishing any further articles and/or comments about Richard Gutierrez.
Failure to heed this demand shall be construed as an unlawful refusal to do so, and our client, as a mother and a business manager of Richard Gutierrez, shall thereafter be constrained to take any and all necessary steps to protect her interests, and that of her family.
Very truly yours,
RIVERA SANTOS & MARANAN
Counsel for Ms. Annabelle Rama-Gutierrez

Ted Failon's wife confiede to friends her plan of suicide
This is the story from abs-cbn.
A major financial problem pushed Trinidad "Trina" Arteche-Etong, wife of broadcaster Ted Failon, to commit suicide, two of her close friends said on Friday.
Speaking to ABS-CBN News in Greenhills, San Juan, two of Trina's close friends, Joy Tan and Jackie Bartolome, said that just this month she confessed to them that in three years, she used up all the money the Etong couple put in a time deposit account amounting to millions of pesos.
They said Trina did not divulge any more details about the problem, but this problem, the two friends believe, led their friend to take her life.
The two friends, who have known the couple for ten years, said that the confession came after they noticed that the usually jolly Trina appeared to have become depressed.
They also said that Etong had on several occasions told them that she would commit suicide, but they did not take those threats seriously, since they saw her as a religious person.
"Gusto na niyang magpakamatay, pero naalaala niya na graduation pala ni Karishma (Trina and Ted's youngest daughter) noong April 4 kaya after na lang daw," Lim recounted.
On the day before the incident, Trina visited her, and she advised Trina to tell Ted the truth. However, she insisted she felt very ashamed for what she had done to their savings.
Joy and Jackie also said they are disappointed that Trina's husband is "seemingly" being pinned down by police as the prime suspect in her death.

ANNABELLE RAMA's MULTI-MILLION SUIT
ANNABELLE RAMA is on a rampage. She filed grave slander against Wilma Galvante for 15 million while her son Richard Gutierrez filed libel case against PEP.
Here is the news:
TED FAILON'S WIFE PASSED AWAY
This is the news from PEP.
Trinidad "Trina" Etong, the wife of news anchor Ted Failon, died at 8:50 p.m. tonight, April 16. Etong sustained a wound in her head after a shooting incident, that is still being investigated by the police, Wednesday morning, April 15.
Trina, 45, was reportedly brought to the New Era Hospital at around 11 a.m. yesterday by Failon himself.
It is still unclear whether the gunshot wound of Trina was self-inflicted or due to foul play.
According to latest reports, Failon broke into tears after learning about his wife's death.
Failon and his daughter Kaye were at the Intensive Care Unit of the New Era Hospital when the doctors were trying to revive Trina. According to dzMM's vice president for Manila division, Peter Musngi, Failon could not stop crying.
TED FAILON MAY BE CHARGED OF OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE
According to latest reports, veteran broadcaster Ted Failon was brought to Camp Karingal in Quezon City late Wednesday night, April 15, to give his statement to the police on the shooting incident involving his wife, Trinidad "Trina" Etong.
Trina is still in critical condition after sustaining a wound in her head. She is still in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the New Era Hospital in Quezon City.
The investigators are looking into two possible angles—suicide and foul play.
SUICIDE OR FOUL PLAY? Initial findings of the investigators claim that it was Failon who shot his wife on the morning of Wednesday, April 15.
But this was immediately dismissed by Superintendent Franklin Moises Mabanag, chief of the QCPD Criminal Investigation Detection Unit. In an interview, Mabanag said that investigators are looking into the possibility that Failon’s wife tried to commit suicide.
According to a statement from Failon that he sent to the media, through ABS-CBN Corporate Communications of his home network, he found his wife in the bathroom of their home in Tierra Pura Homes in Tandang Sora, Quezon City.
His statement reads in full:
There was also reportedly a suicide note left by Trina, which reads:
“Papa, I’m so sorry. Sorry, sorry papa – Mama"
Trina was believed to have shot herself with Failon's gun inside their bathroom.
TED FAILON SUBJECTED TO PARAFFIN TEST
Police authorities said earlier today, April 16, that the paraffin test on ABS-CBN News anchor Ted Failon turned out to be negative, although they clarified that it is "inconclusive." The test was taken in connection with the shooting of Ted's wife, Trinidad "Trina" Entong, Wednesday morning, April 15.
However, it is not yet clear whether the shooting incident happened in their home at Tierra Pura Homes in Tandang Sora, Quezon City, or inside a vehicle as earlier reported.
National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) head Chief Superintendent Roberto Rosales stated in a press conference held at Camp Karingal in Quezon City earlier today, that they are still gathering evidence to shed light on Trina's shooting. Furthermore, he noted that the supposedly written suicide note from Trinidad might actually be something else. "It's a 'sorry' note," Rosales said.
For now, the authorities are investigating whether the note was written by Trina herself. When asked if they would file charges on Failon, Rosales only said, "We have to wait for the final results..."

KORINA SANCHEZ TO WED MAR ROXAS
This is according to Ricky Lo.
As you must have noticed, there’s no question mark in today’s headline, just an exclamation point. Yes, it’s definite: Sen. Mar Roxas and Korina Sanchez are getting married before the year is over — yes, very soon!
According to Funfare’s unimpeachable DPA, Mar is being “traditional” with the whole thing, starting with informing the Roxases and the Aranetas about the long-delayed wedding, followed by a pamanhikan with Korina’s siblings (both Korina’s parents are gone) anytime next week.
No date has been set for the wedding which promises to bring together bigwigs from both politics and showbiz, and the business sector as well, since it will, although informally, signal the start of Mar’s march to...Malacañang? In fact, he has already taken the initial bold step as shown by the TV plugs showing him driving a tricycle while encouraging the kids to pursue their dreams. Mar is definitely running for President in 2010, with Korina beside him during the grueling campaign.

Sinong Niloloko nila?
If you are in love with each other, Holy Week is the chance to be together because this is the time when people are on a vacation.
How come Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes are not spending the Holy Week together.
Priority ang family? What family? When you are crazy with each other you are inseparable.

LOTLOT PROMOTING KAMBAL SA UMA BY MENTIONING NORA AUNOR
Can't they not just promote the latest project of a star instead of mentioning some news which are obviously riding on intrigues.
Lotlot de Leon is promoting her Kambal sa Uma project and yet she is mentioning her mother Nora Aunor.
But, of course, I'm excited kung totoong uuwi na nga si Mommy. To be honest, hindi pa kami nakakapag-usap uli ng Mommy ko, but I heard naman she's doing well," sabi ni Lotlot.
She does not even know how er mother is when it just takes a simple call to talk to her and ask her how she is.

MARIAN RIVERA ADMITSTHE LOW RATING OF HER THIRD TELESERYE
At last Marian Rivera realized that she is no longer number one despite the publicity after negative articles about her attitude srufaced in tabloidsand celebrity columns.
T
Lagi ko ngang sinasabi na tanggapin mo yung katotohanan na not all the time number one ako. Not all the time number one yung show ko.

Gretchen Barretto admits having lips made pouty
Does Gretchen Barreto need to admit that she had lip enhancement. Don't people see that the lower lips are like bloated cherry tomatoes cut in half?
And yes she still has bodyguards paid by the live-in companion so it is not true that they have parted ways but there is always the seed of doubt that something amiss with the relationship. People who know how Boy Abunda creates controversy and drama for the promotion of his talent's project. don't be surprised that all things well after the promotion.
"I don't know. I'm not like, look at your watch, and then... Siyempre hindi ko alam."
THE BODYGUARDS. May mga bodyguards pa rin ba siya?
"Yes, alam mo, guwapo sila, huh!
"Owww! I've got more guards than him!" tawa niya. "I'm sorry... Than he does. Mali, mali ang pagkasabi ko."
Siya ba ang nagbabayad ng bodyguards niya?
"No, I don't. Bakit mo ba tinatanong lahat 'yan?
"Oh, yeah. It's a sign!" pahabol niya.

Kristine Hermosa and Oyo Sotto still in courting stage?
According to German Moreno, it will take a longer time for Kristine Hermosa to move on after the relationship with Diether Ocampo.
At parang masarap magmahal dahil napakatahimik.
Annabelle Rama is filing a case aganst PEP if there is no retraction
Despite the private conversations between Annabelle Rama and Jo-ann Maglipon, the talent manager and mother of Richard Gutierrez is filing a case against the PEP.
"Ang gusto ko, direct to the point.
RICHARD'S LAWSUIT.
Gusto nilang i-down si Richard.
"Maraming gustong i-down si Richard.
THE FATEFUL NIGHT.
PHONE TALK WITH MS. MAGLIPON.
Yung article.
Kapag hindi pa siya mag-retract after receiving the letter from my lawyer, tuluy-tuloy na ang demanda sa kanila to clear Richard's name."
NO WORD OF HONOR?
