Nina file a estafa case against ex-boyfriend NYOY Volante

Three months after "Soul Siren" Nina publicly announced that her ex-boyfriend Nyoy Volante allegedly owes her money, Nina announced that she had filed an estafa case against Volante before the Quezon City Regional Trial Court on Thursday (May 7).

In a previous report on "SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon", Nina was quoted as saying that she has not heard from Volante since she exposed the issue on the entertainment show. "Nagpa-file na kami ng case against the Volantes kasi nga wala pa din silang clear answer doon sa question namin kung magbabayad sila o hindi," she said.

Nina, who refused to provide more details on the case upon the advice of her lawyer, said that she and her mother had given the Volantes a chance to settle the problem but that they had reportedly failed to do so. She also claimed that she had received bouncing checks from Volante.

In February, Nina had announced her initial plans to file a case against the Volantes.
