Martin is going to have his concert in February 1. I wonder if his talk although he would not admit it has something to do with the success of that concert. Pops' concert was a success. What about Martin's? Who is the loser in their word war?

Concert King Martin Nievera said that he is willing to reunite with his former wife Concert Queen Pops Fernandez, but only on stage.
"Sure we can even do shows again together. I mean I can see that," Nievera told entertainment media during the press conference Wednesday of ABS-CBN’s new television series "Lobo."
His statement stemmed from reports that he had a serious talk with Fernandez to end their word war.
He is also certain that he can work again with Fernandez if the people would ask and if people would still love to watch them do things together.
"I think so if the people really wanna watch that after this hullabaloo. I thought hindi na interesado ang mga tao dahil pagod na pagod na sila sa mga intriga namin (I thought people will no longer be interested because they are tired of all the intrigues around us)," he said.
"So kung may audience pa. Kung gusto niyong manood ng Martin and Pops bakit hindi (So if there will still be an audience, if they still want to watch Martin and Pops, why not)?"
Nievera said that his conversation with Fernandez has nothing to do with them but with the welfare of their kids.
"We talked… and we talked mostly about the future of the children and mostly business mostly civil staff," he said.
Martin added "there’s nothing really emotional, wala iyong galit galit, o sigawan (No shouting). I tried to be as quiet as possible para siya ang magsalita (I tried to be as quiet as possible and let her talk). And when she was done we were done."
Nievera also cited that Fernandez said everything she that needed to say and the actor hopes that after the talk everything will be okay.
"She said everything she needed to say and I think everything hopefully will be on the right track.
Nievera also bared that they never talked about what happened in the past, their marital troubles, separation and the most recent controversy when Fernandez divulged almost everything that happened with their relationship.
"No it’s better that we don’t talk about those things, it is better just to put that behind us already," he said.
The singer also hopes that this year will be a happy and peaceful year for them and a really happy birthday for his son Ram and for him.
"I think so hopefully and also for me February 5th will be a nice happy birthday there’s no more wars.
Nievera is now busy preparing for his 25th anniversary concert on February 1st at the Araneta Coliseum.
