Lalong lumalala ang problema ni Maricel Soriano dahil sa pag-iwas niya sa pagharap ng kasong isinampa ng dati niyang mga katulong. Dalawa pang kaso, kidnapping at serious legal detention ang idinagdag sa mga charges sa kaniya.
MANILA, Philippines – Actress Maricel Soriano did not show up for the clarificatory hearing scheduled on Oct. 3 at the Makati Prosecutor’s Office as regards the charges filed against her by her former household helps.
May Cachuela and Camille Acojedo, who filed cases of grave threats, unjust vexation, slander oral defamation and physical injuries against Soriano; as well as their legal counsel Tolie Estrellae were present at the hearing.
Estrella explained the importance of clarificatory meeting in the case.
“Kasi ang clarificatory meeting, it’s the last resort of the investigating prosecutor to dispel all doubts in his mind. It’s also the last resort for the respondent to clear things up regarding the matter,” Estrella shared on “Showbiz Central,” Oct. 9.
“They’re no-show for today,” the legal counsel noted. “We were informed last week that the counsel for the respondent stated, according to our text message, they were not informed daw pero today, this morning, I saw them at the lobby.”
The complainants added two more cases against the actress: kidnapping and serious illegal detention.
Estrella explained that they have to file the additional lawsuits against Soriano.
