Nora Aunor's camp denied they asked for Cristy Fermin's ouster from TV5

A friend of Nora Aunor, Sunga denied the rumor that Nora Aunor and John Rendez asked the TV5 management to remove Cristy Fermin from the network.

According to the same report, the Superstar’s ill-feelings were supposedly due to Fermin’s reportedly “unfavorable” write-ups about her and close friend John Rendez back in 2008. PEP noted that these news items reached Aunor while she was still residing in the US.
With this, Aunor was allegedly heard talking about Fermin on the set of her TV5 mini-serye “Sa Ngalan ng Ina” in Taal, Batangas. The Superstar purportedly asked people about the number of shows Fermin has in the station. Upon finding out that Fermin has four in all, including her radio show on TV5’s Radyo Singko 92.3 News FM, Aunor allegedly said, “It's about time na mamili ang station sa aming dalawa.”
PEP said that Aunor also refused be interviewed again for “Paparazzi,” with the reason that Fermin is one of the hosts of the Sunday talk show.
But weeks prior to this hullabaloo, and as mentioned by Sunga, Fermin had an exclusive one-on-one interview with Aunor aired on “Paparazzi” on Aug. 7. Aunor finally went back to the Philippines on Aug. 2 after living abroad for eight years.
