Mediation efforts failed between actress Katrina Halili and the mother

of cosmetic surgeon Dr. Hayden Kho, whom she charged with libel, as a Quezon City court is set to conduct a full blown trial on the merits of the case.
Judge Ma. Filomena Singh of regional trial court Branch 85 ordered the parties of Halili and the surgeon’s mother, Irene Kho, to undergo mediation but in a session conducted Thursday morning, both parties failed to arrive at a possible out-of-court settlement.
Halili and Dr. Kho were embroiled in a scandal last year when the video of their sexual tryst was uploaded on the Internet.
