According to the tabloid Bulgar KRIS AQUINO AND JAMES YAP had a misunderstanding for
some weeks that caused the absence of the basketball player in the important events celebrated by the family.
The report said that James did not approve the appearance of Kris Aquino in Ai-Ai's
movie, Ang Tanging Ina ninyong Lahat. He was not consulted when her wife accepted the role.
During Hope and James controversy, Ai-ail delas Alas was quoted to have said something about returning James Yap to his mother by Kris Aquino.
James Yap, obviously had never forgiven Ai-Ai for that piece of advice which the latter clained to be a joke.
The couple however agreed to go into marriage counselling to fix their problems.
