A few days back, rumors have been circulating regarding couple Martin Jickain and Aiko Melendez's split? Is there a nugget of truth in this matter? The Buzz clarifies everything as Aiko Melendez gives us an exclusive interview!
Last September 13, Aiko's publicist, Ogie Diaz, confirmed that the couple have really split up, and on the same day, Martin gave Cristy Fermin his thoughts on the issue through an exclusive phone interview, saying that he has his own business, so he's not panting after Aiko's money, and he certainly didn't have vices such as gambling, smoking or women. Rumor has it that Aiko saw Martin at Embassy and Boracay with a different girl, which was reportedly a final blow to the marriage. However, during his phone interview, Martin refutes the said rumor.
On the 14th, Aiko filed a petition for Permanent Protection Order against her husband. The couple's friends attest that the couple has been having "petty problems", but things grew to larger proportions, as apparently, the couple used to badmouth each other whenever they fight, causing a rift between their loved ones, as they start to take sides. Aiko on the other hand, wishes to deal with the matter privately.
