Actress Bea Alonzo distanced herself from the reported shouting match between former partners Roxanne Guinoo and Jake Cuenca during a special show of ASAP 08 in Guam last month.Alonzo, who is rumored to be Cuenca’s new love interest, said she does not know if her two ASAP co-hosts really had a fight. She said that as far as she is concerned, she and the other ASAP artists had a good time in Guam.
“We went to a bar then went up to my room… ang lahat ng grupo, sina Kim (Chiu), Shaina (Magdayao), ‘yon [ang] nakita [ko], ‘yong masayang environment,” she said.
Reports said the three had a confrontation inside a dressing room but both Guinoo and Alonzo already denied the speculations. Cuenca has kept mum on the issue.
Alonzo said people should stop dragging her name into the Cuenca-Guinoo issue. She said she and Cuenca were never an item.
“Umaamin naman ako. ‘Yong kami ni Mico (Palanca) umamin ako and medyo crucial pa ‘yong love team namin ni John Lloyd (Cruz) nun e. Ngayon pa kayang tanggap na ng mga tao tapos hindi naman sila love team ni Roxanne? What’s my reason kung bakit ko ide-deny? If I’m happy, I would scream [it] to everyone… with all my heart na I’m with someone. The mere fact na sinabi kong hindi… we just went out, ‘yon lang,” she said.
She said these days she has no time to go out anymore because she is busy with work.“We still say ‘hi’ and ‘hello’ sa ASAP pero siyempre idini-distansya mo na ang sarili mo sa mga posibleng maging issue, di ba? Nagka-issue ‘yon wala naman akong ginagawa so ngayon mas careful ako. Mas pinapangalagaan ko ang sarili ko,” she added.

So it is just right that she was not celebrating her birthday with so much expenses like what she used to do in the past. Having suffered depression while uncertain about her future when she was not receiving any project must have taught her a lot.

There are no permanent friends and enemies in Showbiz
After receiving a higher offer, Concepcion renege the verbal agreement with Sucaldito
to endorse a product.
Unfortunately, the product he endorsed was questioned by the Department of Trade as to its claim of whitening skin.
Sucaldito sued Gabby Concepcion. Rose Flaminiano who was then the manager of Gabby Concepcion came to the rescue of her talent.
Now the manager and the talent are not in speaking terms but the adversaries in the court became friends again, Gabby and Sucaldito. So that the two decided to forget the suit.
Flaminiano did not approve.
Here is the news:
MANILA, Philippines - Talent manager Rose Flaminiano has asked the Quezon City regional trial court to junk the joint motion to dismiss the P2.8-million damage suit filed against her and her former ward, actor Gabby Concepcion, by entertainment columnist Jobert Sucaldito.
Flaminiano said the joint motion to dismiss filed by Sucaldito and Concepcion is not only improper but also a flagrant violation of the provisions of Section 7 Rule 3 of the Rules of Court.
Flaminiano’s request was contained in a comment and rejoinder filed through her legal counsel, Eduardo Flaminiano, before the sala of QCRTC Branch 96 Presiding Judge Afable Cajigal.
Sucaldito filed the damage suit against Concepcion and Flamiano after they allegedly reneged on an agreement. He however later entered into a settlement with the actor.
Sucaldito and Concepcion, through their respective lawyers, filed the joint motion to dismiss last Sept. 22 asking the court to dismiss the civil case against the actor, leaving Flamiano as the sole respondent in the suit.
Cajigal has set the pre-trial of the case filed by Sucaldito on Nov. 7.
The relationship between Flaminiano and Concepcion turned sour when the actor terminated his management contract over financial issues.
The legality of the contract’s termination is now the subject of litigation at the sala of QCRTC Branch 97 Bernelito Fernandez after Flaminiano filed the petition asking the court to restrain Concepcion from rescinding his management contract with her.
Whatever happens to the friendship, one should not burn the bridge. He may not be able to go back.

Kris Aquino back to The Buzz
She's back. Kris Aquino, that's who. After giving birth to her youngest, Kris Aquino decided to leave the talk show with an excuse that she would like to attend to her young baby.
Talks however persisted that it was due to Cristy Fermin who she had a falling out about her husband's much talked about Hope affair.
Actress and television host Kris Aquino on Sunday returned to ABS-CBN’s “The Buzz” after leaving the top-rated showbiz-oriented talk show in 2007.
Wearing a Snow White costume, Aquino was welcomed by co-hosts Boy Abunda and Ruffa Gutierrez. Her comeback coincided with the birthday celebration of Abunda, one of her closest friends in show business.
Last year, Aquino decided to leave the show, saying she wanted to focus on her family. She was then replaced by Gutierrez.
"Thank you Ruffa for letting me be here with you. Pinasa ko na talaga sa iyo ito pero maraming salamat na hindi ka nag-atubili na sabihin sa akin na I'm also welcome here,” Aquino told Gutierrez.
To which Gutierrez replied: “Kris, ikaw naman talaga ang 'Queen of Talk'. Sana maging prinsesa ako at sana maging kalahati man lang ako na kasing-galing mo. I’m gonna learn so much from you. I’m very excited that you’re back in the show.”
Aquino replaced Cristy Fermin who was suspended from the show until the end of this year for violating her contract with ABS-CBN. Fermin’s suspension was in connection with her fight against former actress Nadia Montenegro.
The big question is, is the return for good?
Gabby Concepcion in the THE BUZZ
Gabby Concepcion was the first actor to be put on a hot seat Sunday during “The Buzz’s Tough 10” questions asked by host Kris Aquino.

Maganda kung gagawa kami ng pelikula. Maganda 'yon bakit hindi? Anytime. Pwedeng kaming dalawa lang, pwedeng kaming tatlo... it's not our call. the sign will probably have to come from... I hope the Lord will give us that opportunity.

Alfie Lorenzo versus Ryan Agoncillo
Though I like Judy Ann Santos, I never care about her talent manager, Alfie Lorenzo. He still sports that unprofessionalism typical of an entertainment columnist turned manager who does not hesitate to divulge the secrets of his ward once he feels offended. Tsee niya.
Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo are two decent showbiz personalities who do not wage word war with anybody who step on their toes.
MANILA, Philippines—Last Sunday on “The Buzz,” manager Alfie Lorenzo explained talent Judy Ann Santos’ hesitance to sign a new contract with ABS-CBN, thus: “She wanted to consult a lawyer... Maybe [she’s conferring with] Atty. Agoncillo.” Lorenzo was obviously alluding to Santos’ fiancé, Ryan Agoncillo. ‘All is well’ As expected, Agoncillo was deluged with all sorts of inquiries about Lorenzo’s comment during the press conference on Tuesday of the latest Kapamilya series, “Pieta.” Agoncillo tried to nip the controversy in the bud. “I don’t want to make a statement out of respect to Tito Alfie and Judai,” he told Inquirer Entertainment. The actor added that he discussed the issue with Lorenzo the night before. “I told him how I felt; and he told me how he felt. All is well...” At press time, Santos and Lorenzo have also settled their differences. Agoncillo made one thing clear: He doesn’t meddle in his fiancée’s business affairs. “People often overlook the fact that Judai is very much capable of making decisions on her own,” he said. “She wouldn’t have become this successful if she weren’t wise to the ways of the industry.” He continued: “She has her own decision-making process and I am not part of that. Being her fiancé doesn’t give me the right to interfere. If she chooses to open up to me, I can only listen and give assurance...” Santos accords him the same respect, he said. “We have complete trust in each other’s competence in our respective careers...” As for the intrigues, Agoncillo readily shrugged them off. “I just take everything in stride.” Apart from “Pieta,” he hosts the TV5 talent search “Talentadong Pinoy.” He is also hosting the forthcoming ABS-CBN reality show, “Pinoy Fear Factor.” Also in the works is a co-starring job with KC Concepcion and Richard Gutierrez in GMA Films’ Valentine offering directed by Jose Javier Reyes.

Anita Linda wins best actress award in Southeast Asian Festival
Anita Linda is already 84. The oldest actress alive who is still active. She outlived MAry Walter by three years. Mary Walter died in 1993 at age 81.
With her age, she still managed to win an award. And it is best actress.
MANILA, Philippines—Anita Linda couldn’t make it to the Cinemanila awards rites held Monday in Malacañang because that was her “gardening day.”
“My hair wasn’t fixed and my hands were dirty,” she recalled.
Still, she said she was “overjoyed” to win Best Actress for her work in Adolf Alix Jr.’s “Adela,” which competed with six other films in the festival’s Southeast Asian section.
Alix said Anita cried upon learning the good news.
“It’s my first international recognition,” she later told Inquirer Entertainment in a phone interview. “It’s a pleasant surprise and a great birthday gift.”

Split or NO Split
Dingdong Dantes and Karylle are sending confusing signals. While Dingdong kept mum about his break-up with girlfriend Karylle, the latter was denying the split up.
Ano ba talaga?
MANILA, Philippines - Actor Dingdong Dantes has kept mum about his rumored breakup with girlfriend Karylle, contrary to the singer-actress’ categorical denial of a split-up.
“I just want to keep this private,” Dingdong told writers during the inauguration of the new GMA Network studios on Friday night. “I never promised a statement when I got back. You never heard those words come out of my mouth,” he stressed.
The actor arrived Friday morning from a week-long vacation in the United States. “For the first time in a long while, walang trabaho. I rested. I spent time with my mom,” Dingdong said. He was in San Francisco to attend a relative’s wedding.
Karylle annoyed
In an interview with the news program “24 Oras” last week, Karylle said they were very much together and that she was annoyed with the rumors and whoever were spreading them.
“I saw Dong before he left. We don’t want to keep talking about the issue because it gets blown out of proportion,” Karylle said during the last run of a local production of “West Side Story” where she played Maria.
Despite Karylle’s denial, talk persisted that Marian Rivera, Dingdong’s “Dyesebel” costar, had caused the couple to split.
On Friday, Dingdong insisted that his relationship with Marian was purely professional. “We’re okay as partners on screen. That’s what’s important,” he said.
Karylle, also a Kapuso talent, was a no-show on Friday night. “I don’t know where she is,” the actor said.

Gabby Concepcion is taking a break
The 44-year-old actor was plucked out of his quiet life in the U.S. to give showbiz another shot. He was given a very warm reception by the Pinoys, and controversies also embraced him with open arms.
There's the problematic contract with GMA Films, which originally stipulated his participation in the movie I.T.A.L.Y. There's the mix-up on negotiations with two rival skin whitening products. There's the 22-million worth of legal tussle, courtesy of Rose Flaminiano. There's the "bad press" instigated by his former manager, who cried out, "Wala kang utang na loob," and even went as far as calling him a "satan."
But the one event that caused tremendous emotional impact was the death of his dad, the main reason—when Rollie Concepcion was still alive but ailing—why he jumped at Rose's offer to manage his career and return to the country.
Any person in Gabby's shoes would probably opt to just quit and leave, but the former matinee idol chooses not to let the entire hubbub affect his focus and hinder him from reaching his goals.
In fact, during his pictorial for I/M Clothing at La Mesa Dam Eco Park in East Fairview, Quezon City, last October 16, he was in high sprits and obviously in his element.
And when he sat down with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) for an exclusive interview, he was very bubbly and friendly. It was as if he did not go through a five-hour shoot. As if the world he's currently part of were not wreaking havoc in his life. There's a battle, but he's unfazed. There are problems, but he was brimming with positive energy.
Gabby simply said, "Wala na... Wala na kami nung manager ko."
Is it taking a break or because he could not accept any deals or contracts not until the case
brought to court by his manager is settled.

Gabby Concepcion claims he is now friends with his former wife
In the midst of the controversy between him and former talent manager Rose Flaminiano and the recent death of his Daddy Rollie, returning actor Gabby Concepcion still has reasons to be happy. One of these is his renewed friendship with former wife Sharon Cuneta.
Was it renewed friendship to extend condolence to former father-in-law?
Sheesh this public relations mahine of Gabby COncepcion will do anything to promote him.
He had to finished 15 layouts that day, but his high energy was like a breath of fresh air. And even if the exclusive interview was conducted right after his shoot, he was very friendly and relexed. He told PEP, one of his main goals in life is to reconnect with former friends and make peace with old foes.
He didn't even bother to see them when he came. He did not even attend the birthday of her daughter. Sheesh.
Although he still has yet to see Sharon personally, Gabby said that they communicate more regularly now.
Rolleyes.
Does this mean there's a possibility for them to be in a movie together?
"We're in a better relationship right now, I just hope we maintain it," he answered earnestly. "'Yon na lang. 'Yong goal ko to be friends with people that, you know, I didn't have the opportunity to share with before I left, e, ginagawan ko ng paraan. It's slowly happening."
Could be the only movie that will make money.
Lastly, PEP asked him a shot-in-the-dark question—not to spark intrigue, but merely to get his opinion.
What can he say about the rumored rift between Sharon and husband Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan?
This time, he excused himself from the subject and said, "I have no comment. Wala rin naman akong alam tungkol doon, e. I don't mind other people's personal lives."
Sowing intrigues. Rolleyes again.

Cristy Fermin is Suspended for Two Months
"Ang kontrata ni Ms. Cristy Fermin bilang host ng The Buzz sa ABS-CBN Channel 2 at anchorperson ng Showbiz Mismo sa DZMM ay sinuspende hanggang December 31, 2008.
Here is the official statement of the suspension.

Nadia Montenegro filed a complaint at the MTRCB
Nadia Montenegro filed a complaint at the MTRCB against TV host-columnist Cristy Fermin and the showbiz talk show the The Buzz.
She declared before her intention to take legal action against the said TV-host regarding the October 5 episode of the talk show where she was alleged to have given birth to a baby in a hospital in secrecy.
According to Nadia:"Upon the advice of my lawyer, since it all happened through TV, ang una kong reklamo ay dapat na iparating sa kinauukulan through the MTRCB.
This I have to see if she is really going good this threat.
The Chairman of the MTRCB feclined to make any comment not until she has studied thoroughly the complaint lodgedin her office.
The suspected father of the "adopted" baby is Baron Geisler. What is confusing is that Nadia Monetnengro was referring to another baby who she claimed was cared for by her friend Lotlot. Cristy Fermin however was pointing to another baby who is more than three years old.
If she is just laughing at the scandal, why does she need to have moral support?

Charice and Mariah Carey in Andre Agassi Fund Raising
While local celebrities are busy with their respective controversies, Charice is wowing her fans . She was one of the musical stars who graced the benefit concert of Andre Agassi at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas.
Imagine that. The petite Filipina ffrom LAguna hobnobbed with Hollywooed celebrities such as Sheryl Crow, Rod Stewart and MAriah Carey.
Sixteen-year-old Filipina singer Charice Pempengco proved she could hold her own among some of the world's best musical stars at the glitzy Andre Agassi benefit concert at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas.
The Andre Agassi Benefit Concert is held annually in Las Vegas to benefit needy children. It features A-list superstars of the music world and this year, Charice was up on stage performing with Rod Stewart, Sheryl Crow and Mariah Carrey.
Before the show began, one of Charice's most fervent dreams came true, when she met and hugged superstar Mariah Carey. Charice was very emotional about the meeting. Carey also had good words about the Filipina.
"I am very happy and I home I'm gonna sing with her soon, I wish! You're beautiful, it's so nice to meet you. She's so cute! I love you Filipinos, thank you," said Carey.
Rod Steward and Sheryl Crow each had their turn onstage, but it was Charice that brought the house down as she was given a thunderous standing ovation by the audience.
"I probably had at least two dozen people stop me on the street just in the middle of anywhere that are Filipino: 'Hey, thank you so much!' Just out of nowhere, and, ' I want to come there.' We should all be proud of her, thanks to millie and Mike. They started it," said American composer and producer David Foster, who is now Charice's mentor.
Immigration lawyer Michael Gurfinkel, who has specialized in Filipino clients, also had praise for Charice.
"It's a source of Philippine pride that we have a Filipina performing with some of the greatest performers on earth," he said.
Indeed she is a pride of the Philippines.

Pops Fernandez denied that it is about a girl
Okay, so they reconciled. So they had a fight. I am talking about Pops Fernandez and Jomari Yllana.
But she denied that the quarrel was about another girl or a third party.
They almost broke up but are now working on their relationship.
Concert Queen Pops Fernandez admitted that the reported misunderstanding that happened between her and boyfriend Jomari Yllana is their first ever serious argument in their three-year relationship. The singer also revealed that this argument almost led to a breakup. When asked to elaborate why they fought, the singer refused to go into detail. "For the first time, meron kaming hindi pagkakaintindihan," was the only explanation Pops said.
Jomari, on the other hand, revealed that everything started when Pops went out of town for a business trip. "Nagsimula ang away kay Pops. She was supposed to leave and she left ng mga buong isang weekend na di kami nag-usap." The actor also refused to give the details on what caused their rift. "Meron lang kaming hindi napagkasunduan. Lahat naman ng relationship, may stages na nakakatakot."
Pops explained that the previous rumor saying that Jomari was caught dating another girl isn’t true. She theorized that since this is their first serious fight, and the press gave it too much hype. The singer also shared that their rift was prolonged because she refused to listen to Jomari's explanation and took some time off before she decided to hear it. And when she decided to talk to her boyfriend, they were both already level-headed and became totally honest with each other.

Sharon Cuneta is heading for MEGA SPLIT?
Ano ba talaga? Is it because of money or because of other woman.
This is rumor about Sharon Cuneta and her husband Senate MAjority Floor Leader Kiko Pangilinan.
Again, that rumor. And once more, the vehement denials.
Senate Majority Leader Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan told the Philippine Daily Inquirer via a text message Friday night that it wasn’t true his wife, singer-actress Sharon Cuneta, had left the country following a major argument over a woman.
“I already said the reports are inaccurate, untrue,” the text message said. “In fact, I am now on the way to the airport to pick her up.” Cuneta was flying in from Hong Kong.
A few minutes later, Pangilinan sent another SMS: “Oh, by the way, kasama ko ang mga bata sa pagsundo sa (the kids are coming with me to the) airport and we may have dinner out after... para lang kumpleto ang storya mo (to complete your story).”
Cuneta arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport early Friday evening via Cathay Pacific Flight 903. Right after deplaning, the 42-year-old Cuneta told waiting media men at the tube, “I give you one word: burned out. I’m burned out with intriga.”
All questions about alleged trouble in her marriage, she answered obliquely: “You know what? Whoever started [this] intriga should end it. So I can read the ending.”
Cuneta was accompanied by KC Concepcion, her daughter from her previous marriage to actor Gabby Concepcion; stylist and confidante Fanny Serrano; Ciara Sotto and Lala Sotto, daughters of Helen Gamboa-Sotto, sister of Cuneta’s mother Elaine.
Reporters tried to interview Serrano, who said, “Bawal magsalita eh (I’m not supposed to talk).”
Pangilinan waited at the Dignitaries Lounge. Before his wife arrived, he was on his cell phone looking grim, intermittently speaking to his and Cuneta’s two young daughters. He refused to be interviewed and asked photographers to refrain from taking the kids’ pictures. “Please spare the children,” he said, visibly upset.
The Pangilinans’ daughters are Simone Francesca Emmanuelle or “Frankie” (born in December 2000) and Mariel Daniella Sophia or “Miel” (born in September 2004). Pangilinan has legally adopted KC.
The rumor had erupted anew—echoing talk that started in 2003—when the couple didn’t turn up at the Senate’s 92nd anniversary celebration Tuesday night at the Manila Hotel. Cuneta was supposed to sing a song during the program.
Theme of the event was, “One Family: An Evening with Senators and their Families.”
A family friend, who requested anonymity, said Cuneta had left “in a huff” on Sunday for Hong Kong after “the worst spat in their 12-year marriage.” (The Pangilinans were wed on April 28, 1996). The source did not give details of the argument, but said the marriage had been shaky for quite a while.
Pangilinan insisted that their no-show at the Manila Hotel was “not such a big thing.” He said in another text message, “I have never attended a Senate anniversary since I became a senator in 2001.”
In any case, he said, he and his wife meant to attend the party last Tuesday, “but had to change plans at the last minute.”
Pressed about the reason for the altered schedule, Pangilinan’s reply was, “I think I have said enough. There are more important national problems that need our attention.”
The senator started fending off queries on the revived issue on Wednesday. By then it was also being said that the latest spat had included money matters.
On Thursday, the ABS-CBN evening news program, “TV Patrol,” aired a hurried interview of Pangilinan by Senate reporters:
The intro was straightforward: “Sinagot na ang maugong na issue... na may tampuhan daw ang mag-asawang Megastar Sharon Cuneta at Sen. Kiko Pangilinan... kaya nag-alsabalutan si Mega... Isa sa itinuturong dahilan ng away ay ang usapin ng pera... May ispekulasyon din na may ibang babae raw ang senador... (The persistent issue has been clarified... Cuneta and Pangilinan have reportedly argued about money... there are also speculations about another woman).”
Anu ba kayo (That’s not true... she’s in Hong Kong shopping. What are you talking about)?”
The family friend said Friday that Cuneta was “offended” by this. “She is not so irresponsible as to turn her back on a prior commitment (the Senate party) if nothing serious had happened,” said the friend, adding that the singer had in fact rehearsed for the event hosted by Senate President Manuel Villar and his wife, Las Piñas City Rep. Cynthia Villar.
Since the relationship hit a snag on account of the rumors about another woman, the friend said, the couple had not been spending much time together, with Cuneta shuttling between the two family homes—one in Wack-Wack in Mandaluyong City, another in Ayala Westgrove in Laguna.
People close to Cuneta are quick to deny the rumor, especially Pangilinan’s sister Angeli who, according to “TV Patrol,” called to ask Cuneta to come home, but was turned down cold by the singer.
From Bali, Angeli told the Inquirer via SMS: “That is so not true. Kiko... warned all [of us about the rumor].”
Several other friends saidCuneta had gone to Hong Kong for “girl-bonding” with KC and the latter’s cousins Ciara and Lala.
A close associate of the couple insisted that the rumor was meant to divert attention from other controversial figures in the Senate.
Cuneta’s manager, Sandra Chavez, was also sure “they’re okay.”
Speaking to the Inquirer by phone on Friday, Chavez conceded that the couple had “the usual” tiff, “nothing earth-shaking.”
She said Cuneta’s Hong Kong break was “for a much-needed rest... on the advice of the senator himself.”
Chavez said “the whole family” was planning a trip at the end of the month, “probably to the United States.” The trip earlier this week, she added, was just because Cuneta “needed time alone,” having been stressed with “career obligations [and] being a wife, and mother to three kids.”
In 2003, Cuneta was also reported to have left the conjugal home and moved to the Gamboa-Sottos’ house in Quezon City, purportedly because she had broken up with Pangilinan. Then as now, she denied the rumor, saying it was “politically motivated.”
It seems that all those who have ambitions this coming 2010 are suffering from rumor mongerers.
All couples experience burn-out, even celebrities.

Cristy Fermin Accuses Nadia Montenegro of having a child out of illicit relatiobship
It's her side against Nadia Montenegro's interview in the The Buzz last September 28.
Cristy Fermin responded to Nadia's allegations, point by point.
1. I lost her because of Cristy Fermin, who until this day has not proven that text message she told Gretchen that I sent to all these media, to all the reporters.
Cristy Fermin accused Nadia that she indeed betrayed Gretchen by asking the columnist
to bring a camera to take photos of Gretchen in a condominium whichshe suspected to be a rendezvous of the latter.
2. On Nadia's allegation that Cristy Fermin is using her columns in making making money in promoting and or critizing stars.
4. Cristry Fermin's credibility-"I have to remind Cristy Fermin, you are convicted for libel. You have no credibility no more.
5. On revealing some more secrets
Cristy's message to Nadia Montenegro:
It is very interesting when they shift loyalties...secrets are out.
About Nadia's baby secret, does it have something to do with the accusation of Gretchen during their Rembrandt encounter ?
Nadia shouted at Greta, “Baboy ka!” Greta fired back, “Mas baboy ka! And then she blurted out one of Nadia’s darkest secrets which stunned Boy Asistio. (Clue: It involves an actor with foreign blood who’s making a comeback.)If the baby is not really Assistio's then some tests should be made to bail out Nadia and also to prevent the child's trauma of being made to believe that she's adopted.

Reggie Lee of Prison Break is a Filipino
There are so many local actors trying to break into Hollywood but many of them even with ther good looks did not make it.
It is different for Reggie Lee, a Hollywood actor who is a Filipino descent and was born in Quezon City, Philippined. Here is his biography.
Born of Filipino-Chinese descent, Lee, the oldest of three sons, was born in Quezon City, Philippines to Zenaida Telmo and Dr. Jesus Espiritu Valdez, a retired Ob-Gyn.[1] He continues to speak Tagalog, his native language, as well as Cantonese. As a child, the family moved to Cleveland, Ohio where Reggie graduated from a Franciscan High School. The 1990s found Lee relocating to Los Angeles only to hit the road again and tour nationally in the musical Heartstrings and later in Miss Saigon. With his tremendous success on stage, it is no surprise that Broadway came calling when he was cast in the original company of the Tony Award-winning musical, Carousel. In 1997, he received a Dramalogue Critics Award for his performance in F.O.B. at East West Players. With his critical acclaim, Lee also starred in their production of Carry the Tiger to the Mountain.
Career
Since having starred as Lance Nguyen – the snakeskin-wearing, motorcycle-riding, cold-blooded killer – in Universal’s high-octane blockbuster The Fast and the Furious, Lee has been on his way to screen success. He recently finished filming a supporting lead role in the highly anticipated Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, the third installment to Disney’s incredibly successful Pirates of the Caribbean series. Lee also plays Special Secret Service Agent Bill Kim in the popular FOX drama Prison Break - a character he describes as "a guilty pleasure to play – wonderfully complex and devious". And later this year, Lee stars in the independent feature Chinaman's Chance opposite Timothy Bottoms, Danny Trejo, Theresa Russell, and Ernest Borgnine. “It’s an important story that definitely needs to be told and humanized,” says Lee of this film that is billed as a Western/ Drama. “Plus I get to play pretend in the Old West. How great is that?!”
